New Ping Rule(s) & Group Rooms

I have 2 suggestions:

1. Have a NO PING List; put my name on that list
2. Limit PINGS; allow ?/day

With that 'said', there needs to be 'Group Rooms'.
I am the 'owner' of MLEC2; maybe a better word is 'creator'.
I'd like to have a Group Room. In that room it lists me as the Administrator. I could have moderators listed if I wanted to.

In that Group Room, I can make my own Forum Threads/Topics for my Members to communicate with each other. When a member (who would each sign up to the Group Room) would like to send a 'group message', EACH member would get "Mail".
There should be a "SELECT ALL" toggle in the mail system/group.

This is the only real way to stop PINGS. Ping away inside your "Group Room"!!

Trying to run my group from the forum is impossible, really. I'd like to be able to send out invitations to join the group to other adults; or have people be able to ask me if they can join.

Also, through the forums, the thread gets buried beneath 100s of other topics, never to be seen again until someone posts. We don't post much, because we simply 'feed' each other's creatures. Inside of an official GROUP ROOM, we could keep up.

Using the MAIL system as it is, is annoying because I have to remember how to spell everyone's user name correctly; my memory is lousy now. I'd like a toggle to 'select all' to automatically add my group members.

I've suggested GROUP ROOMS before, realizing it's a big step for Egg Cave, but a very welcomed addition I would imagine.

Group Rooms would be set up to be viewed by MEMBERS ONLY and Notifications an be turned on/off.

I'd love to have contests for my members; Christmas, Birthday give-aways, etc. All of these things are hard to manage in a Forum thread. Too much stuff out there taking up the 'air space'.

ARTISTS could have their own Group Rooms. Imagine all the things they could do in their own forum threads.

Forums have their purpose, but so would Group/CLUB rooms.

Imagine all the things that could be accomplished in a nice neat 'room' LoL

AND, a link to the group(s) you belong to are listed on your profile page. Maybe a little STAR if you are the Creator of the Group/Club/Clan (whatever Egg Cave decides to name these Groups).
