Riddles~

Whoever guesses the answer that the writer had in mind, gets to write the next riddle.

You can tag people to join as long as you know they wouldn't be upset by it.

If the answer isn't guessed in 15 posts, then the writer has to pick a new riddle(hopefully not one just torn off the internet).


Riddle 1:

This creature returns all to dust, but cannot even see it.
This creature can turn into two, and yet cannot feel it.
This creature can be easily seen, but often is not;
However, all things encounter them when they begin to rot.

Worms are decomposers, have no eyes, and do not have the brain power to process pain. They're not microscopic, but they're usually underground, so we don't see them. 😃

Riddle #2

During my birth, the sight of new life surrounds and welcomes me.
One by one, my brethren follow my lead,
Filling the land with a single hue.
We are brought up to be the savior of our life-bearer,
Soon to be enlisted in the weather of weapons to protect our king.
We ward off incoming assailants to aid our commander.
After seamless victories, we are soon to meet our worst match.

Even when nearing our destruction,
We continue to illuminate the world with our vibrancy.
As the adversary approaches, we attack to no avail.
After countless acts of endurance, our chief begins to lose face.
The unseen enemy beats and batters us,
And our leader cannot withstand much more.
One by one, the soldiers begin to fall.
When the giants storm on our corpses,
We continue to give out a grumble.
But the little devils seem to find joy in our demise,
For they gather us up and bathe in our remains.
