About Egg:

The sticky bright red substance has the sweetest smell of caramel apple and candy cane that tends to attract candy lovers, people and predators, alike. Since the egg is bright in color it has almost no camouflage and are commonly preyed upon by Candits.

So, if you find one make sure to keep it in a safe place.
