Welcome to the Coleson Academy for Magic Users or CAMU for short. If you are here that means that you have budding magic abilities, you then fall into one of four classes of Magic Users, each one diverse and unique from the others. You will take a brief test, or rather explore a brief maze. You will get a stone at the end of your maze quest, and the color of your stone determines your Magic Class and the symbol determines your Element Class.


There are four magic classes, each one gives you a certain lot of powers you hadn’t yet known how to use properly.

Class 1~Seer: Seer’s are a rare class, and as such there are only about twenty every three years. Seer’s are a class of Magic User that is able to see the future or key parts in the past in their dreams. They are able to tell other Magic Users from humans, by an aura Magic Users have. Seer’s are represented by an orange stone.

Class 2~Empaths: Empaths are a semi-rare class, there are about thirty every three years. Empaths are able to sense the emotions of other people. Empaths also from severely close bonds to others and when finding something linked to that person will be able to sense their emotions, and status from a distance away. Empaths are represented by a blue stone.

Class 3~Searchers: Searchers are a common class with about fifty every three years. Searchers are able to connect with nature, to search out what they require by knowing the way life flows through everything. They can sense when someone is about to die and when new like is coming into play. Searchers are represented by a green stone.

Class 4~Mediums: Mediums are a common class with about fifty every three years. Mediums are able to contact the recently deceased, commune with spirits and see spirits around of animals and people alike. But Mediums are also much more than that, Mediums are also able to tell when something has died, as that creature has left an “echo” of their death on themselves and whoever it was that killed them. These echos never leave both the victims and the perpetrators, and each is unique to the personality of the victim. Mediums are represented by a purple stone.


There are Elemental Classes, and each one allows the user to manipulate their element to an extent.

Class 1~Fire: Fire class is about heat, flames and rage. Fire Class Magic Users have fiery tempers and are hard to keep calm. They are able to manipulate fire and create fire. Their symbol is a regular triangle.

Class 2~Earth: Earth class is all about nature, minerals and stability. Earth Class Magic Users are usually level headed and more able to ground the fierce Fire Class. They are easily able to manipulate the plants around them as well as create and alter minerals. Their symbol is an upside down triangle with a vertical line crossing near the top.

Class 3~Water: Water Class is all about liquid, cold and calmness. Water Class Magic Users are calm and collected, more in control of their tempers but also find it difficult to form bonds with other elemental classes. They are able to create and manipulate water and ice. Their symbol is an upside down triangle.

Class 4~Air: Air Class is all about freedom, grace and the breeze. Air Class Magic Users are graceful, free from mental ties and at peace with themselves and others. They are able to manipulate air and wind as well as create wind. Their symbol is a right-side up triangle with a vertical line through it near the top.


Magical Abilities manifest themselves properly at age sixteen of a Magic Users life but can bubble up, in volatile outbursts, before hand at young ages. Magic Users are capable of harnessing the magic that flows through everything, as such they can manipulate specific elemental abilities, but can also manipulate objects and perform spells. Every Magic User has the ability to perform telekinesis, speak into one another’s minds and recite spells from ancient texts.


Every student shares a common room with separate rooms for each grade, and gender with females to the left and males to the right. Each room is divided into four different sections for each person to sleep in.
Please let it be noted that: Every student shares the same classes. There is a six minute passing period between each period.

3:30 PM~4:24 PM - Study of Magical Creatures with Professor Gale Summers
4:30 PM~11:24 PM - Free Time/Dinner
11:30 PM - Curfew


1~ No Sues or God Modding
2~ Every student is newly entering the school
3~ Split genders, Magic Classes and Elemental Classes evenly.
4~ This is Semi-Lit so know how to punctuate properly, and keep misspellings low.
5~ Try and write at least three sentences per paragraph. Nothing is more muse killing than a single word response to your well written post.
6~ All EggCave rules apply.
7~ Keep OOC to a minimum.
8~ Max of Four characters per person.
9~ If you have read these rules put your character's favorite song in code.
10~ No pictures in your forms. Use words to describe them to me.
11~ Thoughts are italicized and thought speak is bolded and italicized.

Name: Darrien “Rei” Scarsboard
Age: 16 Years
Gender: Female
Looks: About six foot four with short and thickly curly dirty blond hair. She has blue-gray eyes, very pale skin and is covered in freckles.
She wears a black tank top and jeans, whether in short form or pants form, and wears black gloves, orange tennis shoes and around her neck a silver double ouroboros necklace on a short bronze chain.
Magic Class: Seer
Elemental Class: Fire
Anything Else: She is mute and communicates with both Sign-Language and Thought-Speaking. When using Sign-Language it will be simply bolded.
Past: Darrien was born into a human family alongside her brother Cole, and their parents were surprised when both children showed minor signs of magic at a young age. Small magical outbursts are what caused Rei to go mute after a tragic accident when she was six. When it properly manifested after their sixteenth birthday, their parents were relieved to learn that a boarding school would take their children in.
Personality: Darrien is reserved, sassy and sarcastic when spoken to. Her temper is short and her tongue, or hands, can be very sharp in a sense. She may even seem a bit rude at first, but once you befriend her, if she allows it, she can be a very loyal friend.

Name: Jasper Scarsboard
Age: 16 Years
Gender: Male
Looks: Five foot eight with short light brown hair and light green eyes. He has semi-fair skin, not as much as his sister, and has all the freckles.
He wears a simple green jacket over a black shirt and jeans. His shoes are your average tennis shoes.
Magic Class: Searcher
Elemental Class: Air
Anything Else: He translates for Darrien when she uses sign-language.
Past: He and Darrien were born into a human family, their parents being pleasantly surprised. His sister became mute in an accident following slight upspurts of magic when they were six and then on Jasper has translated for his mute sister.
When they received a letter from CAMU their parents were relieved that there was a safe place for their children.
Personality: He is kind and friendly, eager to befriend new people. He helps out those who need it most and very often is loyal to his friends.

@featherstar_stormclan I'm a bit interested in this, but could you maybe explain how the magic classes and elemental classes go together to me? Still, applying anyways!

Name: Wes (last name unknown)
Age: 16 years
Gender: Female
Looks: Five foot, one inches, with long, curly white hair. she has light reddish/purple eyes depending on the light, she is almost completely blind (she can still tell where walls/people are, but details are fuzzy). Very pale, no freckles. She is a albino, so she can't stand sunlight very well.
Magic Class: Empath (Can change if you don't like her combination.)
Elemental Class: Water
Anything Else: Tends to be a bit unstable, mentally and health wise.
Past: She was born into a very unstable family, always hopping around from place to place, not sure where the next meal is coming, and constantly running from whatever trouble her family got into. She was eventually abandoned by her parents and taken into foster care (around 7-8), but her time with her original family left her with some issues. Her last name and actual age is left up to debate due to her family's constantly moving/changing names.
Personality: Outwardly, she is very calm and controlled (but very rude at times), but inside she is a mess of anxiety. She is very unsure of herself and hordes food and other objects she likes, she can be downright violent if she thinks someone is trying to take her stuff from her. She can be very nice to others and takes care of them if they manage to become her friends.

@madscienced everything looks good. And magic and elemental classes have no affect on each other. It is just the way I ordered things. If anything your characters personality affects Elemental Class more and nothing affects Magic Class.

Name: Raffine von Einzbern
Age: 16 years
Gender: Female
Looks: 7 foot five. Has light pink hair that curls at its ends and wears a white angel wing hairclip on her head. Wears an orange sailor's vest and a frilly white shirt inside. Her vest's collar has a small purple bow on it. She has green earrings and has a pale orange skirt. Across her skirt she wears a round white ball pouch. She has frilly navy blue socks that are slightly above her knees. She wears black dress shoes that have white bows on them.
Magic Class: Empath
Elemental Class: Water
Anything Else: She comes from the Einzbern family, a family line that is very wealthy and very skilled at magic. She is very proud (But not too arrogant) and is very confident.
Past: When she was born, her family would often throw her into the wastelands and forests to test her skills, but she never acknowledged this. After a few months passed by, she was tired of being thrown out by her parents. She killed them and began to wander through the dangerous forest. Eventually, she was out of energy, and she was found by a kind man. The man took her to the city and took care of her. She loved him very much, because no one ever showed her genuine love.
Personality: At first, she is very prone to sneering at one's abilities, but when you get to know her better, she is actually very kind and compassionate.

@featherstar_stormclan Ah, is she too short? Perhaps I can change it to maybe 7 foot five? And also, I forgot to add she has ice blue eyes and she has pink hair because she after she killed her parents she was adopted, and the person who adopted her before the man from the city forced her to use her magic to do something to herself that made her hair pink. Stupid explanations, sorry about that...

Gender: Female
Looks: Short black hair, golden-brown eyes and quite pale skin. She's six foot nine and wears a strappless short black dress with knee-highblack boots and sleeves that are disattatched to her dress. She has a pendant around her neck which is pink blue and orange coloured and she never takes it off.
Magic Class: Seer
Elemental Class: Fire
Anything Else: Her mother was died at childbirth and her father found out that she was a magic user just after, he abandoned her and she hasn't heard of him since.
Past: Alina was left on the doorstep of a young family at the age of three and grew up with them, knowing that she was different. She was never really welcome by her siblings or people at school but had one friend who went missing without a trace a year after. She hasn't made any friends since and only enrolled into the school as she knew her future would be better if she did.
Personality: She's quite feiry, impatient and mostly keeps to herself, bottling up her anger until she lets it all go at once. Alina has been known for getting into fights and can be very indecisive. She's a loner and acts hostile to anyone who talks to her but that is only because she is scared of caring for someone again and loosing them.

Gender: Female
Looks: Long slightly wavy black hair tied up into a messy bun, two strands hanging down beside her face and her fringe covering her right eye. Brown eyes, healthy colour skin and is around seven foot two inches. She wears a long light blue dress fading from white at the top to baby blue at the bottom accompanied by blue shoes.

Elemental Class: Earth
Anything Else: Arisa is Alina's sister, part of the family that took Alina in.
Past: Arisa was never known to be a magic user until Alina was taken in by her family. When Alina happened to be in a tricky situation, Arisa discovered her magical abilities as Alina followed in her footsteps. Arisa has always looked out for Alina and helped her in her tricky life, knowing that the rest of their family disliked their abilities. Their mother is the only one who is truly proud to have two magic users in her family, their father not so much.
Personality: Arisa is kind, loves to make friends but is also quite strict at times and very mature. She's quite intelligent but can have moments of bubbly attitude. Sometimes she loves to goof around but is mostly a 'stick-in-the-mud' as Alina calls her. Arisa prefers to stay in groups and doens't like being alone.

Name: Jack 'Demon'
Age: 18 and a half.
Gender: Male
Looks: Short messy black hair, blue-grey eyes and tanned skin. He wears simple jeans and a black top with a black jacket over the top and boots. He's around seven foot five.

Anything Else: Jack is the missing friend Alina knew but neither of them know it.
Past: Jack knew Alina from a young age and lived with his older brother until his brother decided to abruptly leave, taking Jack with him. He lived in another town until he moved away from his brother and now lives back where he used to, but his memory of Alina has been messed up and he can't remember her name or looks or much about her. He just knows that he knew some girl for a long time.
Personality: Jack is quite calm and collected, laid back and acts a little dense at times, he loves to annoy people and is a bit of a flirt. He doesn't like clingy people or when people ignore him.

Anything Else: She is a former pop star before she retired and joined the school.
Past: When she was born, her parents left the household for a mission. Honoka was sad and she didn't want her parents to go. After 15 years, her parents were finally declared as missing. She left her house and in order to find a way to bring her parents back safe and sound, she wanted to learn magic, and set off to find a place where she could do that.
Personality: Very cool and calm, but she is very offended easily.
