Deirdre shakily trotted up to the fallen Pokemon, fear stricken in his eyes. "Y-you... Defeated them..?" He lifted his head hesitantly and looked up at Alex and Chase. He looked around the dimly-lit lab and lowered his head again. "I guess..." he said, his voice trembling in bittersweet fear, "We're all free."

Chase looked up at the Deerling, his ears flopping amiably. "I'm glad we could help." He smiled, flashing his Jolteon fangs. "My name's chase. How about you?"

Deirdre flashed a polite grin and said, "My name's Deirdre."

"Wait..." Alex said suspiciously, "Who's 'we'?" She looked around, in search of other Pokemon in the lab.

A Pidgeotto clumsily flew in next to Deirdre, landing with a loud heap. She rustled her feathers proudly to the gang of Pokemon that had saved her. A Flaaffy confidently, elegantly strutted over next to Deirdre as well, staying a safe distance from the Pidgeotto.

"I'm Eustace, but please..." the Flaffy said politely, "Call me Ampere," his tone flattened and a look of disgust shadowed his pompous demeanor, "and this is Ace." He turned his nose up at the Pidgeotto, who was rolling her eyes and grinning at Ampere.

"Yeah! I'm Ace!" she said with gusto, "We're the 'we' that Deirdre was talkin' about." She slapped her wing playfully on Deirdre's frail back, and he cringed.

Alex stepped back warily, eyeing the three Pokemon in front of her. She pressed her back to Joker's imposing chest in search of protection.

Meanwhile...
BC's trainer, Flame, was yelling at her.

"Pikachu!!" he screamed. "Why can't you just automatically do what I tell you?! People all think that the battles I win are because of you!" He threw a rock at her.

"I'd like to see you be called 'Human' and become a slave," thought BC, but as usual, he didn't understand.

"You stupid freak!" he muttered. "Your weird tuft of hair with a blue triangle on it creeps me out. You can leave. I don't want you in my team anymore."

BC blinked at him, not understanding.

"I said LEAVE!" He hurled a larger rock, but fortunately it missed. BC ran away.

Flame failed as a trainer two months later and went back home to live with his mom.

BC wandered around aimlessly, but as the months passed her health deteriorated and she began to consider suicide. One day, she saw a Pidgeotto flying east and decided to follow her.

Cynthia quickly ran away from everybody again. It was now hiding from everybody now.

BC followed the Pidgeotto for a while. Suddenly, it wheeled around and saw her. Surprised, BC discharged a small electric shock. The Pidgeotto jumped back.

"Who are you?" it squawked. "Why in Arceus's name are you trailing me?"

"Sorry..." replied BC. "My trainer abandoned me and I wanted to see where you went."

Its look softened immediately. "Oh, in that case, then, follow me. By the way, my name's Ace."

"We'll help you," she added.

"We?" queried BC.

"You'll see." replied Ace.

Illyasviel was walking back to her tent when something hit her.

Illyasviel:
"Ow!"

Illyasviel saw...her parents! She was shocked. She didn't know her parents would her do something like that.

Maki, Illyasviel, Alice and Hiroyuki's mother:
"That's right. It was us."

Maki, Illyasviel, Alice and Hiroyuki's father:
"We'll let you in on something."

Maki, Illyasviel, Alice and Hiroyuki's mother:
"Every moment the four of you were born, every single second...we've despised you."

Illyasviel was wide-eyed. She lost consciousness due to the shock and fell with a thump. Her mother kicked her down the cliff. The cliff loudly crumbled, while she fell into the empty space below. This got the attention of even Chase.

Maki, Illyasviel, Alice and Hiroyuki's mother:
"You see...look at this. Is is the four of their pasts with us."

She flashed something that looked a hologram video, showing the four of them being chained and covered with sores, bruises, and wounded. The hologram showed that it took place in their own house, in their rooms. It showed their mother chaining them up with her magic and whipping them until they couldn't take it anymore. No, more than that.

Maki, Illyasviel, Alice and Hiroyuki's mother:
"They are a bunch of children I always hated. The kindness of us was an act. We're sorry."

Maki was crying very loudly.

Maki:
"Why, Mom...what did we do to hate you?"

Maki, Illyasviel, Alice and Hiroyuki's mother:
"Oh Maki, nothing at all. I simply saw you as a hindrance is all..."

The hologram video played on and on. Even Hiroyuki was incredibly sad and very hurt. Alice was not crying, but she was emotionally hurt. She tried to hide it.

"Oh, okay... So why does your mother do that to you guys?" It asked unsure of what to do, but it understood what the pokemon that it meet last time meant. It nodded understanding.
