I'd find having the ability to delete comments on your own topic very useful. I'd like to delete post that I don't like or that I don't want on my topic. 😋

I think you should be able to delete your own posts and topics. ^^

I don't think you should be able to delete other people's posts, though, even on your own thread. If somebody posts something rude, you can report them. 😊

@Ladybugheart It is your topic and you should be able to choose what's on it.

Well, I understand this for your wall, but this is a forum. It may be someone else's topic, but it's your post. 😋

You shouldn't be able to delete posts on your own threads and topics. If someone posts something you don't like, with a good and legitimate reason behind their post, then IMO it deserves to stay there even if you don't agree with it.

Having the power to delete other people's posts is something only moderators and admins should be allowed to have, as people are liable to abuse that feature if someone they don't like comes onto their thread. People could also stage arguments, then delete the posts that go against their ideas. It'd make a moderator's job very tricky indeed.

As @ladybugheart said, if the post is unwarranted, it should be reported.
