Fairia shook her head.

Fairia:
"You are not to ever show others the watch and reveal the secret. I highly doubt that you will be able to battle the ghost Pokemon and avoid public spectating at the same time."

She grabbed her schoolbag.

"Now we're talkin'!" I grinned. "Yeah, blame me if we get in trouble." I opened my bag to reveal hundreds of medical supplies and lots of food. Plus all my money. And the eBook. "All set!" I boasted. "I'm always all set. Let's go!"

I fell over. Toby stared at me concernedly.

A few minutes along the path, a whole horde of Rattata bolted out of the grass. What was surprising, though, was that they didn't head for us. They seemed to be running AWAY from something.

Fate almost tripped over a rampaging Rattata. She nearly sprained her ankle as a horde of Rattata came rushing down.

Fate:
"What's happening??? FAIRIA!!!"

I desperately tried not to fall on my face as I tried to locate Toby. Where were Fairia and Toby!?

"BC, let's summon!!"

She hurriedly grabbed Fairia's medal from her school skirt pocket and flipped it up.

Fate:
"My friend! Come on out Fairia!!! Pokemon medal,set on!!!

"Charming summon!"

The watch responded bitterly.

Watch:
"This Pokemon is in an area with no summoning signal. Please try again later."

As Fate put the medal into her bag, she heard the watch.

Fate:
"ARE YOU KIDDING????"

The Rattata swarmed higher and higher. A dark shape appeared over the horizon; I presumed that it was what the Rattata ran away from.
