Egg:
The rose on the shell of the Anidae originally has no scent. As the bird reaches hatching, the smell can be detected more than almost ten meters from its origin. The green and blue of the shell also appear to slowly pulsate and glow.

Hatched:
Anidae chicks are called, "dips." This is because the blue markings on their feathers are only on the tips of their primary feathers, as if they were "dipped" in paint, unlike their more advanced stages. When danger approaches, mother Anidae are quick to gather their dips while their father approaches the danger.

The roses on the tail of the adult Anidae can come in many different colors, depending on their attitude towards an individual. Hues of reds, pinks, yellows, and white show the love Anidae have for someone. Anidae with black roses are in harsh dislike of someone or mourning the lose of a mate. Legends speak of Anidae whose tails bear blue roses, but no evidence suggests that there is any truth behind this. If you wish to pluck a rose from an Anidae's tail, be sure to have its permission first.

A special note: The Anidae does not behave well around other creatures, especially other birds. It is best that captive Anidae be kept with its own kind and no other. Otherwise, they will fight and their roses stay a dark, wilting brown due to the stress they will have to endure.
