Any English people to help me out?

Hi. I'm not very active on the forums, but I thought I'd ask for a bit of advice here because there are actual English people on here 😃

Anyway, I'll be having a tiny vacation soon and I'm mostly gonna be all by myself. I'll be staying in Cambridge and going to London once, so what I wanted to ask was how public transport works in that area. I know about the Oyster Card and Travel Card, but I think those are only available within London... Soooo, what is the best and cheapest way to get around by bus and train in Cambridge and from Cambridge to London? I would also love suggestions for places to visit! 😃
