CJ and most of her friends put their cookie mix in the oven. the teacher said while they waited, they could talk or play on their phones, so they were talking to each other.

CJ:

"last weekend i played minecraft almost non stop!"

Oriel looked over at CJ.

"Wow, that looks pretty good!" she chirped, smiling at her. "Looks like I have some tough competition!" She laugh-snorted, nearly knocking her bowl of batter over. She steadied it with her wings and looked over at the other classmates. They were all doing so well, and she was afraid she wouldn't amount to anything in their eyes. She focused back on the batter.

"Ahah, n-no problem!" she stuttered, trying to focus on her cooking. She poured the batter into a tray and baked them with a perfectly timed Sacred Fire. The cake was a delectable golden-brown and smelled of delicious vanilla. Oriel smiled proudly, impressed (and a bit surprised) that she was able to finally make an edible meal.

Stardust caramelized her cookies and put them into the oven to bake and rise. Once they were finished baking, she took them out of the tray. It smelled of yummy caramel with a whiff of chocolate cream. She showed CJ her caramelized cookie batter mix.

Oh no! I'll never win against cooking THAT good! she thought to herself, panicking.

their cookies were done, and they flew over to the over to get them.

CJ took a whiff of hers and almost felt like she was gonna melt of joy. the smell filled the whole room and she felt like she could just burst out of the ceiling and fly around everywhere.

CJ put hers on a counter. the others took out their cookie dough. Dave obviously wasnt a great cook. his looked like lumps of cookie dough, which they were.

CJ got some mint chocolate chips and put some on her cookies. then she let her cookies cool off. she put a few mint chocolate chips in her cookies before they baked to give them an extra minty goo. she grabbed a container of sprinkles and poured a few star shaped ones on her cookies. she added a thin layer of mint frosting.

CJ was done with her cookies and told the teacher.

the teacher saw that everyone got done.

teacher:

"ok! everyone put their trays on the big table in the middle of the room!" *points to it* "just so everyone knows who's is who's, pass these note cards to everyone. write your name on it."

after everyone was done with that, they put their trays on the table in the middle of the room. everyone made at least 24 cookies, to supply the whole class.

it was time to try everyone's cookies. people would rotate around the table.

once everyone did that, the teacher signaled that they could start rotating. stardust was on cj's right, and Alex was on her left. they were rotating clockwise, so cj would try stardust's cookies first.

there was a paper next to everyone's trays, and you would put what you rated on the paper next to/under your name. she tried stardust's cookies. she wasnt a fan of the marshmallow fondue. she gave it a 2.

(also the biggest ratting total someone could get is 240 because there are 24 pokemon in the class and the highest rating you could give someone is 10)

she paused.

teacher:

"the reshiram over there." *points to them* "you get one of these candy bars of your choice."

teacher:

"second place is.....Oriel. congrats, you get one of these larger candies."

the teacher paused again for a dramatic effect.

"aaaand first place is........oh, it was a tie! you, the latios over there, and the moltres in the corner of the room. congrats! come pick out a giant candy bar!"

CJ felt disappointed, but all she did was shrug. she didnt want to look like an idiot.

CJ:

"i guess i put in to much mint. better luck next time."

"who was in last....?"

the teacher looked around.

teacher:

"actually, it was you, Ethan."

"wait...i wasnt in last?"

"i will admit i suck at cooking. no worries."

"what place was i in?"

the teacher looked at her notes.

CJ smiled a little.
