Korbinia shrugged. "Oh well." She didn't care very much. She caught up to me, who was already heading to the forest.

(Just so you all know, the daemons really represent the side of your character that you don't display on the outside. For example, a guy who acts cold and distant on the outside might have a loving, friendly daemon because he's hiding it.)

I reached the forest first. Korbinia ran off into the bushes. "C'mon, Korbinia!" I yelled. "We have to wait!"

Lanthanum rolled its eyes, even though it knew that Zac couldn't see it behind all of its matted fur. It curled back down under the desk and snorted.

"If YOU have a better idea of how to spend the day, go ahead. I'm probably just going to sit here." Zac said without turning to face Lanthanum. They were too focused on the task ahead to care about their Daemon.
