The Realm of Magic {Sign-Ups}

The Realm of Magic is a place where magical beings and humans alike lived in harmony, for the most part. The Realm is home to many magical creatures, both rare and quite common. But it is also home to humans, those who have travelled here on accident, although in the Realm of Magic there is no such thing as accidents, for once one enters the Realm they cannot leave. The Realm often chooses humans or beings with extraordinary power to live in it and chooses to do so because of the exquisite properties of the Realm as it is capable of prolonging life to those who it chooses allowing them to reach a certain age before they stop aging. In a sense those who live there are immortal, or at least the humans and humanoids are. The others, they live normal lives though greatly longer than humans.

You live in the Realm of Magic, and a great darkness is upon the realm. A selfish creature corrupted by the magic that sustains it has overthrown the peaceful nomad watching the Realm, and everything has descended into chaos.


-No Sues or Godmodding
-You can kill other characters, but there is a three page grace period before that can happen. And you must give the other a fighting chance.
-No excessive violence or bloodshed
-Don’t be over powered
-Have fun
-Keep genders even please.
-All site rules apply
-In other put a type of bread if you’ve read and understood all the rules
-As many characters as you can handle
-Be literate, and keep spelling errors to almost none
-Three sentences per post. Nothing kills a RP more than; “Ok.” they said.
-Make a well defined difference between which character you are RPing as if you have multiple
-Human cannot have powers, humans with powers classify as either a witch, wizard, elemental or something along those lines
-Everything in forms is required aside from clothing unless you are humanoid, we’ll have dragons and such that don’t do that.
-Everyone can die by some weapon. No one is immortal.
-Put your characters theme song in Code if you have read every rule.

Name: Alyss Scarsboard

Gender: Female
Looks: She is tall, about six foot four, she has pale skin and has thickly curly/wavy blond hair that is about to the base of her neck. Her face is covered in freckles and her eyes are a blue-gray color, in different lightings sometimes more blue than gray and other times more gray than blue.
Clothing(Humanoid Only): She wears a leather jacket over a dark blue tank top and black pants with dark brown boots. Around her waist is a belt in which she stores her throwing knives. She also wears a black chained double ouroboros necklace.
Species: Sorceress
Power(s): She is capable of manipulating magic and performing spells, elemental, verbal and nonverbal. As well she has grasp of telekinetic powers.
Weakness(es): Her magic is limited to her strength, the more tired she is the harder it is to use complex magic. As well she can only use telekinetic powers on things she can see.
Weapon(s): Throwing knives, and a bow and arrow.
Other: Related to Darrien, half siblings.

Gender: Female
Looks: Darrien is about five eleven, she has short and curly light brown hair. Her skin is pale and her eyes are a deep blue color. Unnaturally blue almost.
She has large ashen grey wings as well, which she can hide under a thin blister like skin that tears away easily when she needs to use her wings.
Clothing(Humanoid Only): She wears a large sweater with a black shirt and jeans along with boots.
Species: Sorceress-Demon Hybrid
Power(s): She has magic, performing spells and the like, telekinetic powers and umbrakinesis. As well as flight.
Weakness(es): As with any sorceress her magic has limits, she can only use what strength she has, and complex spells drain her severely. Her telekinesis is limited to what she can see. Umbrakinesis is dangerous for her to use, as it allows the darkness to directly enter her body in order for it to be manipulated. This also drains her strength the longer she uses it.

Name: Huma
Age(16+): Over 6 millennial.
Gender: Male
Looks: About the size of a German Shepard, Huma has rippling gold, red and orange scales that shift to feathers at an unregulated pace. His face is graceful, with a long beak like snout in a golden yellow color, bird like almost. His eyes are gold, and on his head he has small and sharp black horns. His tail is long and feathery, and legs are like that of a bird, but far thicker. He also has sharp claws. His wings are large and graceful, bright orange feathery wings.
Clothing(Humanoid Only): Exempt
Species: Drake-Phoenix Hybrid
Power(s): He can create and manipulate fire. He also is able to heal himself as a phoenix, regenerating if too mortally wounded by certain weapons. He is able to die like the Phoenix, and be reborn in the ashes of his former body.
Weakness(es): It takes a sharp mind to control fire and as such it requires a large amount of focus for Huma to use his flames. While some weapons Huma can heal from, enchanted weapons, or magically infused weapons can harm him.
In addition he is weakest when he is a few moments away from his ashen regeneration.
Weapon(s): Fire, beak and claws.

Name: Gabriel
Age(16+): 7,000, but looks about 24
Gender: Male
Looks: He is fairly young looking, assuming he has lived since the alleged dawn of creation. But Gabriel is about five foot eight, he has lightly tanned skin and he has deep green eyes. He has thick and untamed black hair.
He has three sets of medium sized white wings tinged with gold patches that he is capable of hiding under a piece of blister like skin when he doesn’t need them.
Clothing(Humanoid Only): He wears jeans and a regular shirt as well as a large gray sweater and tennis shoes.
Species: Archangel
Power(s): Photo-Umbrakinesis-manipulation of light and darkness-flight and telekinesis. Mitokinesis, ability to force cells to regenerate, but this happens automatically for him.
Weakness(es): Photo-Umbrakinesis requires for Gabriel to be focused on what me is manipulating, or creating. It requires massive focus. Telekinesis is limited to what he can see and what has a weaker mental power than him. His mitokinesis is able to be stopped by a weapon of light or dark-one fused with shadows, one fused with light-and one fused with very powerful magic.
The next best alternative is to damage one or more sets of wings, thus grounding him and making him more vulnerable.
Weapon(s): Angel Blade, and Angel Sword.

Name: Nimbus
Age(16+): 17 in their species but is around 850 if 50 years means 1 year.
Gender: Ambigous, but is classified as a male...
Looks: Nimbus is around 4"07 with short white hair that has a small trace of sky blue around them. They have clear sky blue eyes with pupils that have a faint image of a star. Although they feel like they can sink to the ground, a breeze of wind can probably blow them to move sideways. They can transform into cloud figures of small flying creatures or birds that can fly, and they usually go for a hawk.
Clothing(Humanoid Only): As a humanoid, Nimbus wears a cape with a sky blue to black gradient on the front. They wear a sky blue shirt and black pants alongside the cape. They're usually barefoot, because of the fact they don't touch the ground that often. Their cape can double as a bat's wing, but less controllable.
Species: Sky Elemental, even if they don't look like one, try blowing them with a fan.
Power(s): Cloud Manipulation and Water Manipulation. They can't create water, but they can get any water they see and turn them into steam and cool them down faster than usual. Their body temperature is capricious, and nobody can tell whether they're hot or cold. They can hover a few inches off the ground.
Weakness(es): They can't create water, and creation of clouds are too difficult to make despite their immense training. Blowing Nimbus with a fan is the best idea to do, or just wait for a breeze to come. Hovering can't make them fly, unfortunately.
Weapon(s): Dual Pistols that shoot black bullets that leave a trail of glitter or some other substance.

Gender: Female

Looks: Being a Djinn, Shri's appearance can
change with the fickle nature of the breeze itself, from
humanoid to beast, however she sticks with a slim,
human like appearance, with curled tail in place of legs
and light blue hair pulled into a winding ponytail. She is
around four foot eight.

Clothing(Humanoid Only): Colourful wrappings
and silk cloth, she is also adorned with jewellery. Middle-eastern in inspiration.

Species: Djinn

Power(s):
Wish Granting- supposedly able to grant "any" mortal's
wish. See weaknesses

Highly magical.

Weakness(es):
Wish Granting- Extreme magic comes with extreme prices,
either the magic itself backfires and requires highly specific
wording to pull off the way the user wishes, or it comes with
a cost to Shri's own health. The magic only lasts for as long
as they have Shri's 3 wishes.

Inanimate Objects - Sort of. Shri is easily able to be banished
or cursed to reside inside of them by anyone with enough
potent magic.

Weapon(s): Curved bejewelled scimitar.

Name: Connie Hargrave

Age(16+): 19

Gender: Female

Personality: Connie is fiercely independent, sarcastic, direct, stubborn, and confrontational. She has a very carefree and adventurous personality and is very tomboyish in the way she acts and dresses. This is in contrast to the delicate doll the rest of the magical world seems to see her and the rest of her kind as. She is eager to prove that she is as strong as anyone else and that despite her size, she doesn't need to be helped. Her eagerness to prove that she could be independent leads to difficulties with her friends as she often mistakes simple friendly gestures as an act of pity for her size.

Looks: Her hair is an ashy shade of dark brown, though in most light it appears black. There are slightly noticeable strands scattered about that bear a lighter tone. Her hair is worn short and all too often reaches a slightly shaggy length, laying about in whichever way it so chooses. Thick and full. Her eyes are the emerald shade of the trees, or so some have said, with flecks of lighter, almost lime green and gold dapple her irises, but one would have to get awfully close to notice this. Connie has a strong jawline and brow-line and more fine, ovular cheeks. She has very thin lips, pale pink. Connie has a very slight frame with defined joints and bones. Her hip bones in particular seem to poke out from beneath any clothes she wears. Her skin is tan with an undertone that could be best described as brown (rather than rose). She is about 4 ft 8 inches.

Clothing(Humanoid Only): She wears a black, off the shoulder top, grey pants that go just below her knee and a short brown skirt with ruffled layers. She rarely wears shoes. She wears an assortment of jewellery made of the various stones and jems that she has found.

Species: Oread (Nymph of the mountains)

Power(s): Earth manipulation - Shape, compress, and/or otherwise manipulate earthen materials. Move/lift earth, rocks, boulders, and stones

Weakness(es): She is unable to create earth, being limited to manipulating only from already existing sources. Connie has to be/stay in contact with earth. Artificial solids are impossible for her to control.
