About a month ago I was playing on my chrome book. My little brother Jonathan really wanted to play. So I signed him on his account. After awhile I wanted to play again, so I took the computer away so I could play. I clicked the 'Sign out' button but instead, it went to 'eggcave.com/blogs'. When it got there it showed simply weird stuff like 'Grandmas wrinkle trick' or 'Five signs to cancer.' Finally I just closed the computer and didn't log in that day. the next day it happend again. Only more annoyingly! Lets say I wanted to go to Forums. I would click it but it would go to eggcave.com/blog right away. Well, it's not doing it now I guess. Please check it! Thank you!

Where the 'Grandmas wrinkle trick' (What did I just type?) and 'Five signs to cancer' ads? Did they take you to a page with the eggcave background, but with the ad on them instead of the page?

@qerrat

A lot of people are having issues with weird ads on blank pages lately, is that what happened to you and your brother?

I don't think there's anyway to fix it right now, just hit the back button whenever it happens.

Racoon, I tried that five times. It didn't work.
And teddy, it just had a blank page with two adds.

Take a screenshot and send it to the mods ❤️ I've had the same thing happen to me recently, maybe try refreshing or closing the page and opening it again. If all else fails maybe use a different browser? Going on incognito mode in the Google browser automatically appears as not signed in, unless you have the account password saved in the browser. 😸 Good luck!

@qerrat

To start, try deleting your browser history. To do this on Chrome, press Ctrl + H and select the option to clear browsing data. On Firefox, click on the three horizontal bars in the upper right-hand corner of the window, then select "History", then "Clear Recent History". On Internet Explorer, click on Start, Tools, Safety, then Delete Browsing History. Finally, on Safari (Mac OS X), go to the menu and select Clear History and Website Data.

In general, clearing browsing history tends to clear up problems that users have with Egg Cave. If this doesn't resolve the issue, then send in a ticket about this here. As a temporary fix if clearing browsing data doesn't resolve your issue, you can try doing one of these:

• If you're using Chrome as your browser, you can enter incognito mode and nobody will be logged in from there. To enter incognito mode, press Ctrl + Shift + N.

• If you're using Firefox, you can enter privacy mode by clicking on the three horizontal bars in the upper right-hand corner of the window. Click the option "New Private Window", and just like incognito mode, nobody will be logged on from privacy mode.

Hope that helps! Feel free to ping me back if you have any trouble or are confused with my response.
