Lots of Pokemon were crowding around Audia, curious as to what was happening. The orb began to shine brighter and kept getting brighter.

they all got in a horizontal line.

zero:

"ready...set...google!"

most of them sprinted a few steps, then realized that zero said 'google' and no 'go'.

zero:

"ok, NOW i'm not gonna trick you guys...ready...set...gone!"

mark stepped forwards a step, then stepped back, rolling his eyes.

zero:

"ok, i may or may not trick you this time.................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................go!"

they all sprinted forward.

zero:

"ok, run around the school as many times as you can without stopping. when you stop, you're done. make sure you remember where the starting line was and how many laps you ran."

Zethan chuckled a bit while walking a few steps back to the line when he fell for zero's google trick. Zethan then got in a running position and waited fore zero to say go. When mark took a few steps when zero said gone, zethen tried to stiffle a laugh. Getting a hold of himself, He adjusted himself then ran as soon as zero said go.

several other watching pokemon joined the marathon and trotted along. zero was the fastest of them all though, with several pokemon at his heels.

The glow got brighter and stronger until it began to envelop around Audia. She went wide eyed as a voice, one only she could hear, began to speak in a sweet tone.
"These people here...they tried to kill Clout! So go on and get your revenge!"

Audia did not realize that this was a lie as the aura formed into a pair of red wings. This voice had hypnotised Audia, and forced her to go on another rampage. She panted heavily.

Audia started to have a temporary change in appearance, now complete with red devil horns, fangs and claws. She roared angrily and loudly.

zero ran really fast past a group of studying pokemon, making their papers fly. everyone else followed, mark jumping over a paper.

Zeathan started to run faster was starting to catch up with zero, passing the scene Zethan looked to the side he tried his best to keep a steady pase. But he had to see what was going on.
Knowing full well that he was going to give up his chance to beat zero, Zethan stopped and turned around ran to check up on Audia.

zero looked back to see that zethan had given up.

zero:

"leaving already? well, we're gonna have school wide marathon sign ups tomorrow, so consider joining then!" he yelled to zethan.

Later, during battle club.............

They were going over basic stuff that he already knew. He hadn't slept in a few days and ended up falling asleep in the middle of class. it wasn't too obvious since every pokemon was sitting down.

He had a dream.....a dream that he was in battle club, standing tall and confident about his future victory against this brat of an opponent....the luxray that started vandalizing the school and even pulled out a gun. But zero was confident that he would triumph over him this time, and maybe even steal his gun....if he had it with him.

The teacher cued the start of the battle. zero was using his spiked collar to an advantage; protection. his cap, it was just backwards for good looks. The luxray lunged at him, but zero back flipped and dodged it. Then zero shot a powerful thunder bolt at the luxray from his nose. Then he bit the luxray's side with thunder fang. of course, since the luxray was an electric type, it wouldn't paralyze him, but it did some damage. The luxray used volt tackle. zero used thunderbolt. The battle went on til they both had low health. Then, the luxray pulled off zero's spike collar and held it near his neck.

luxray:

"one move, and the victory is mine, 'champ'."

zero gazed down at the collar near his neck. the everstone that was being held in it dropped out, and there was a white flash of light. when the light faded back to normal, there was a shiny manectric with silver fur instead of yellow fur. zero was already a high enough level to evolve. so high, he could easily beat most opponents. the problem was, he had an everstone. everyone gasped and stared in awe and wonder.

he HAD an everstone. now he had evolved. he used fire fang mixed with bite to do extra damage, and the battle went on from that point, til he used flamethrower and charge beam to wrap up the battle. the luxray collapsed and everyone cheered. then he got some kind of award. but then, he heard a click that sounded like a gun being activated and turned around. he was at gun point.

He growled quietly, still in his dream. Then he woke up in a flash to figure out that, fortunately, the click wasn't a gun, but the teacher tapping a yard stick on the ground to attempt to wake him up. UN-fortunately, he didn't evolve in real life, and he still had that spike collar with the everstone and flat billed cap.

Zero sat up.

zero:

"sorry...." he said sheepishly.

the teacher just shook his head and sighed. The class giggled.



The next day......

zero noticed that mark was showing a few signs of appreciation for aspen. when she wasn't around, he would ask where she was. He'd always ask aspen first if she wanted something from the vending machine. He even gave her an extra cookie when they stole stuff from the vending machine once more. It turned out that she might like him too...but zero couldn't really tell. But then, there was a dead give away that they each kinda liked each other when they would put the other one before zero, jordan, gage, jeff and jay. One day, he even caught mark one evening giving aspen a rose outside on campus. i mean, really? on campus, where almost ANYONE could see you? 'mark, read more romance novels! you don't show your appreciation for someone in public.................usually.' zero thought.

I didn't like battling. I snuck around school now, afraid that I would be asked to show my electricity again. Zero was pretty cool, but I didn't approach him... yet.

zero had a new task now, he was going to first of all, find out if mark really liked aspen, and second, to make lots more friends so he would be well know. he was already pretty knowon for jumping in front of a flare blast and blue flare combo, saving demi, who he seceretly thought was kind of cute, but he wasnt making it obvious, like mark.

he woke up suddenly the night after he saw mark, having a very unsettling dream. although now that dream was all he could think about. he hurt a little, but thats when he found out he had fallen off the top bunk and bruised himself up. it was 2 in the morning, and before he could try to climb back up to his bed, he fell asleep.

the next day, he woke up and only gage was awake.

gage:

"im guessing you decided to sleep on the floor?"

zero:

"no, i fell off my bed in the middle of th night, and i feel like half of my bones are broken."

gage:

"wait, you sleep on the top bunk? i forgot. that sucks. why'd you fall off?"

zero:

"i guess i was moving around to much. i had a disturbing dream. dont even ask."

gage shrugged.

gage:

"mkay. next time maybe you should sleep on the floor in the first place."

zero:

'shut up."

later that morning,

zero thought he saw gage, but this pikachu had a heart shaped end on it's tail. it wasnt gage.but he wondered...was she new?

there was a talent show that evening that lots of pokemon participated in. zero knew what he was gonna do.

the crowds filed into the room and sat down. the contestants filed in as well, zero being one of them. the crowd got quiet when the p.e teacher turned on the microphone.

p.e teacher:

"alright everyone, quiet down! ok, this is our first talent show that we are doing for prizes. there is obviously a trophy, but the other prize is a secret til later."

the pokemon started preforming, most of them singing or dancing, but zero was confident that his performance would be the best.

he went last. the crowds clapped for the performer before him. to most of the crowd's surprise, a piano ws rolled out onto the stage. zero adjusted his cap and started playing "red zone" on the piano. his paws moved faster than the eye could follow. his friends went wide eyed. he had a smug grin on his face. near the end of the song, his paws were moving so fast that they were blurs, you couldn't see them. the teachers watched wide eyed. some pokemon whispered to each other. most of the pokemon were impressed and wide eyed. once he finished, his paws were sweating. the crowd whistled, clapped and cheered. zero bowed.

p.e teacher:

"i think we can all agree that that was a pretty legit performance. now you guys get to vote for the winners."

zero got a bunch of rewards. everyone cheered. he officially became the best locally known piano player.
