Uses for EC (Currency) ?

Hello everyone, so I'm still fairly new to egg cave and i have saved up quite a bit of money and have found out you can buy backgrounds for your eggs from the travel agency but haven't found any other real use for the currency besides toys and food? which I'm not sure what those do.

What do you normally spend your EC on? what else can i use my money for? i feel like I'm missing something.

You can spend your EC on toys, books, travels, and food from stores. Then you can also purchase creatures from the Creature Auctions and Thief Shop. Plus users always are selling creatures and items for EC.

You can also buy creatures in the SaR center, put your creatures in tims if you don't already have the leaf of vaka, and buy cove expansions😊
