Creature Stages:

(Pretend the egg doesn't have the wings and the arms...)

About the Egg:
Jellish (plural) are aquatic creatures that thrive in the Summer. This egg is many different shades of blue, often blending in with the water and proving hard to find. The shell seems to radiate warmth. When placed in a cold environment, the blues on the egg appear dimmer and duller. This egg will only hatch on the Summer Solstice.

More about the creature:
Often found underwater or in moist habitats, Jellish eggs are covered in blue rubbery foam. When first hatched, the Jellish are wingless but as the Summer progresses and more and more warm days pass, they sprout translucent jell-like wings. These wings grow at the highest rate during sunnier days. As the Jellish grows, arm-like tendrils will sprout as well. Said tendrils can stretch up to 4 feet and can shorten up to 3 inches when fullgrown. On cold days, Jellish will wrap themselves up in their own wings to reflect body heat. Jellish prefer reeds and seaweed as a snack, but will eat most vegetables if needed.

Hope you like it!
