Another great noob question!

I been reading creature descriptions in the archives every time I come in here. Just a few a day so maybe (haha) I will retain some of this. So when it says...for instance...the barbat egg is affected by bright light...does this mean I need to own some kind of thing that
helps it stay dark whilst it grows? Or is all that detail in the description just to make it interesting and memorable?

As far as I can tell it's just a detail in the description. So no need to worry

Thank you emeraldfirefly. Those little details do make the creature memorable but I am glad I don't have to worry about accommodating their fussiness. 😊
