Frost wasn't sure how she felt about Chat. For now she decided to keep her distance. She secretly had a crush on Aries. Chloe ran over to the race.

mr. martinez:

"get set......"

sky got in a running position, along with the other racers. the pokemon in the stands were all chanting for their trainers.

mr. martinez:

"....go!"

the racers took off. sky was beating most of them.

mr. martinez:

"oh, by the way, there will be prizes for the winners!"

blade:

"go sky!" he yelled.

zero:

"win this for the face clan!!!!"

nitro turned to blade.

nitro:

"he really likes MLG stuff, doesnt he?"

blade:

"guess so. i like MLG stuff, but not nearly as much as him."

bolt:

"come on guys, give sky some motivation! BEAT THEM ALL, SKY!!"

mason:

"go sky!"

zero:

"lets all cheer, louder than everyone else. and maybe we could make some kind of sign using our moves, we could each write a letter. i'll use lightning, nitro could use water, blade could use leaves, you know."

bolt:

"ok."

zero used thunderbolt in the air to make a G, blade used psychic, and a purpleish-pink mist created an O, nitro used bubble to make an S, bolt used thunder to make a K, and sage used solar beam to make a Y. these words could be seen from the cabins.

Chance got outside to watch. Mari and Silver held down Chat to prevent him from flirting with others, but they took him outside to watch.

"Come on! At least let me down!" Chat cried, as if he was a child.
Silver and Mari giggled. "Sure, if you don't bother everybody else." Mari laughed.

Chloe watched the race and was amazed at their speed. Frost was wide eyed.
"Wow! That was pretty cool how they made the words. What do you think Aries?" Aries tried to hide how impressed he was.
Aries: "It was cool I guess."
Frost: "Admit it you're impressed."

Illya quickly smiled rather murderously as Cerberus got ready to run.
"Go and show them how it's done, Cerberus."
Cerberus nodded and gritted his teeth.

(could i do a time jump soon to the next race? i'm excited for how it will turn out.)

sky had the music 'Red Zone' stuck in her head, but i guess that persuaded her to go faster, so she zipped to the finish line, leaving dust behind her. it turns out she was only in 3rd place, but at least that meant she would get a prize.

mr. martinez:

"looks like we have our winners!"

mr. martinez mentioned 1st place and 2nd place's names, then Sky, in 3rd place. then he mentioned the prizes, and sky got a bronze medal, a '3rd place' ribbon, and a small chocolate bar.

mr. martinez:

"there will be an even better race later this week, so i hope you guys train! it will be at night, so you better have good vision. alright, now for the pokemon race! same rules apply, but the trainers don't have powers to shoot fire out of their hands, so the rules for the trainers are slightly looser. anyways, on your mark....."

the pokemon got into their positions. all of sky's pokemon were racing.

mr. martinez:

"get set.................go!"

they were off. the pokemon were much faster than the trainers, so this race only took half the time. zero was in the lead.

Frost sprinted as fast as she could. She found herself slightly behind Zero, but she was slowly slowing down. Aries stayed with Chloe.

zero was in a good lead. the finish line drew closer. he was the fastest pokemon he and his friends knew.

Frost was barley able to stay second. She ran as fast as she could, trying to stay out of third.

zero kept running faster, ignoring Cerberus, but tumbled across the finish line to figure out he was in 2nd place. eh, at least he wasn't in last.

Frost finished 3rd and out of breath. She trotted back over to Chloe to see if she had any water for her.

zero was used to running this fast, and was only panting a little. he had become used to being a runner. he trotted back to sky. the rest of sky's pokemon came in random places like 4th, 9th, 12th, etc. they all came back to sky.

zero was slightly disappointed by his defeat.

Cerberus, on the other hand, was not even sweating or panting. He crossed the line first and smiled triumphantly.

Chloe pulled out a water bottle and gently poured it while Frost gingerly lapped it up, trying not to get water up her nose.

the thing is, sky's pokemon didn't really get a chance to meet Illya's pokemon. zero didn't know if he should be happy for cerberus's win, or mad, or just disappointed.

sky:

"you all did great! now lets go train for the big race!"

zero smiled. never mind that Cerberus won that race, i'll just win the next one!

(a few days later......sorry i wont do a lot of time jumps)

it was a fresh day and sky and her pokemon were training. the trainers wouldn't be in this next race, but the pokemon would, so she coached them. of course, she was nice about it.

then, the race started in the evening.

mr. martinez (the mega charizard x):

"alright, guys! this is a very, VERY long race. only the best of the best racers will make it to the finish line, and even if you make it to the end in 4th place or under, you are lucky. im telling you, SOME OF THE BEST RACERS DON'T EVEN MAKE IT.so i hope you all do good, and i hope at least half of you know what you're doing." he said, pacing back and forth in front of the racers.

zero couldn't wait. he was excited to race. all of sky's pokemon were willing to race. they all got into racing positions.

mr. martinez (the mega charizard y):

"ok, now for the rules. rule 1: no helping each other. rule 2: no putting the other racers off course for whatever reason. rule 3: the trainers have to stay in the stands. i think i made everything clear, so lets start."

mr martinez (the mega charizard x):

"ok then. on your marks.....get set..............go! and good luck!"

'Red zone' started playing on the stereos near the stands. it was fast music, so it was good for the situation. the racers took off.

Roseria and Zaps were participating in this race and dashed off quickly. They both bolted to be the first almost like they were gliding through the other Pokemons very quickly the Pokemons they needed to worry about was Zero and Ceberus though, but since Zero was already raced he will be quite tired.

Mari and Silver participated, due to their luck. Both dashed as fast as they could, trying to outrun Roseria and Zaps.

Chat Noir didn't bother joining, as his unluckiness wouldn't spare him at all.

Chance cheered for Mari and Silver.

Mari and Silver barely got tired, but their stamina would catch up on them eventually. Regardless, both were neck and neck.

zero dashed across the dirt, leaving clouds of dust kicked up by his back paws. he didnt really have any rivals, but his only "rival" though was cerberus. he was ahead of everyone at this point, bolt and nitro close behind. neone of sky's pokemon were panting at all.

Roseria speed was increasing as they kept running while Zaps kept up the pace with Roseria, but will be behind Roseria by a few inches next then.
Cynthia coming closer to the scene with the other two cheered for Zaps and Roseria.
"Gooooo Zappsss, and Roseriaaaa!!" Silea cheered loudly. They all were rooting for their own team mates.

sky:

"go, zero, nitro, blade, bolt, mason and sage! you can win this!"

it was becoming dark. the course was hard to see, and a few pokemon were already eliminated, or they quit. nitro was catching up to zero, which made him the one to watch, considering zero was well known locally for being extremely fast. out of all of them, sage was the slowest, even considering she was a quick legendary. she slowed to a stop on the side of the course, panting a lot. even after the training, she wasn't used to running this much, and this fast. she was eliminated, and slowly came back to the stands. there were lots of screens across from the stands, at least 8 of them, focusing on the best racers. zero was really hard to capture on a camera considering his speed. nitro was considerably fast too, though. nitro was getting gradually faster, catching up to zero, which was extremely impressive. most of the screens across from the stands were focused on him. he kept running faster and faster til he eventually passed zero. he was running faster than he had ever ran before. the crowds cheered, considering zero was so fast. this didn't help zero, though, because this made it seem like the crowds were cheering against him.

the finish line drew closer at an unbelievable speed. i can do this....i'm gonna win!!! zero thought. nitro kept moving faster and faster, til he was so fast they couldn't capture him on cameras for more than a few seconds. that's when there was a white glow of light.....nitro evolved into a frogadier. this made him even faster, and he dashed across the finish line, a cloud of dust kicked up near the finish line. the crowds went wild. zero came in shortly behind him, noticing he was once again beaten by cerberus. zero grit his teeth, but didn't say anything. he had been defeated by not one, but 2 other pokemon. when he noticed that nitro evolved though, he stopped gritting his teeth. there were only about 7 pokemon that finished, one of them nitro, one of them cerberus, one of them zero, and there were more yet to come. surprisingly, zero and nitro weren't panting at all. the stars gleamed above the camp.

As Cerberus rushed towards the finish line, he saw Nitro running. He finished and gritted his teeth at seeing Nitro win the race. He plastered on a forced smile.

Roseria came up 4th place, while Zaps came toe to toe with Roseria in 5th place. They all came rushing over to congratulate them and get water for them.
Zaps had an angry face that he was beaten by four others and was going to force him to train even more along with his team mates even harder. He had an angry face and snorted stomping his hooves and walked off.
Someone's a sore loser~ Roseria thought to herself. She was ok with what she got though too.

"thanks, Cerberus."

Zero smiled.

Zero:

"you did even better than I did, nitro, and that's saying something."

Nitro:

"let's go back to the stands, they have the awards and the crowd there, and obviously all the racers."

They went back to the cheering crowd.

Sky:

"wow, nitro, you won, and you evolved! This is awesome!"

Zero felt jealous that nitro was getting attention, but zero was happy for him, and so were sky's other Pokemon.

Mari was in sixth place, with Silver following seventh. They barely broke a sweat.

Chat Noir went towards Nitro.
"Looks like somebody developed from a tadpole to a fastpole!" He started laughing at his own pun.

"we have our winners" he said over a microphone. "Zero is in 3rd place. Cerberus is in second........................and for the first time ever, someone has finally beat both of them. Nitro is in 1st place!!" he said loudly over the microphone. The crowds went wild for the racers.

Cerberus had plastered on an obligated grin on his face. He started waving his paws, accidentally falling off the podium. He smacked onto the floor facefirst, but did not seem to take any damage at all.
