New to Egg Cave

Hi! I am new to EggCave. I have always played Neopets but I had stopped for a few years & when I came back a few weeks ago =( It had changed for the worse! Uh! So anyways I always used a site called http://thedailyneopets.com/dailies and they had featured this site so I thought I would give it a try!

Can I ask, what the point of this game is? To collect items & eggs?

Adopting creatures, taking care of creatures and collecting items are the basics of the game. You can participate in a series of events/competitions, trade items/creatures, buy valuable items from the Cash Shop Park, and more. There's definitely much more to Egg Cave once you really get into it.
