Is there a way to recover an old account if the email address is forgotten or no longer used?

The only way to recover an old account without using your email is by answering your set security questions. If you didn't set security questions for your account, than I don't believe there will be a way to retrieve anything. You can always submit a ticket to ask staff for reassurance though!
