Chloe tossed and turned in her cot. Eventually she gave up trying to sleep. The woman had bags under her eyes. Getting up, she undid her flannel that was around her waist and put it on, not bothering to button it up. Chloe rubbed her eyes and crept out of her "living space." It was still dark. Good. Maybe the police won't notice me, she thought. Chloe pulled out the ring she had stolen. They would most likely be looking for the stealer. Tucking it back in her pocket, Chloe made her way to the back allies to meet up with an old "friend."

Tereshi noticed somebody in the shadows, but decide to ignore it. It was almost 6:00 AM, and people are going to wake up and walk around the town like mindless people. She decided to follow the one they had seen, but tried to keep themselves hidden.

Chloe looked around and slipped into an abandoned building. She carefully walked on the weak boards, making them squeak. Chloe saw a dark outline of a man in the shadows.

I held my ears in my hand, trying to hide them as I weaved through the town. My tail was tucked in between my legs in fear of someone seeing it.
When I was able to stop, I saw a river before me. It's not the worst place to stop. I thought to myself.

Tereshi grinned, but was shocked to see the person see her. They start to hide somewhere, but in a way that she was able to see the other person.

Cylene stretched. Her eyes glinted gold with sliver flecks in the half light. She slipped through the darkness. Closing her eyes she became a cat with tan fur and still is wearing her bracelets.

Tereshi notices somebody in the shadows, and controls the wind around her. It forms into an energy ball, and she hurls it near the two.

"Doubt you're going to do anything with that ring," she said. She was slightly twitching from the looks of it.

It missed Chloe, but hit Justin square in the chest. He flew backward, hitting the wall. "Justin!" She whipped around, turning on Tereshi. "What the heck?!"

"Doubt anything would happen. Besides, why do you think you wouldn't be spotted?" She laughed, with an evil grin on her face. Tereshi was about to do something else, but she ran out of ideas. All she could do is attack with whatever she had.

Cylene crept through the allies. Soon she heard voices and her fur stood up. She flattened it and snuck through a hole in the wall to see what was up.

Chloe felt a growl come from her throat. "Because it was never your business in the first place." She rushed to Justin's side. "Are you ok?" Justin slowly got up. "Yeah, but my head hurts. Here just take the money." He pulled out a wad of cash and handed it to her. Chloe gave him the ring and gently shoved him. "Thanks. Now get out of here before you get hurt again, you weak butt hole." Justin smiled. "Yes mother." He nervously looked at Tereshi and ran out of the building. Chloe turned and faced Tereshi. "What do you want?"

"Well then." Tereshi said. "Justice is what you need and what I want." She grabbed her gun and shoved Chloe with it away from her.
"You better run, because on the count of three, there will be fires everywhere." They started twitching, and counted down. "One..." The gun was locked and loaded.

Cylene fled the scene and scrambled up a building to gain a better view. She watched below crouched. Her paws dangled off the ledge.

Chloe stood her ground. If she was going to die, why not by being shot? Chloe thought about her life. Homeless, broke, miserable. "Fine. Pull the trigger." She spread out her arms, an unmoving target. "Sorry for trying to survive in this world."

Venus turned into a umbrella for Eran to use to shelter him from the ran.
"Let's go and explore, it's really early so not a lot of people will be around." Venus told Eran in his mind.
"Ok then," he replied. "Where do you want to go?"
"I don't know, anywhere."
He started to wander around tired yet fresh to the morning. Venus covered him from the rain. He wandered to see a person with her arms opened and another girl with a gun. He backed up far away not wanting to deal with the situation.
"Steer clear..." She told his mind.

With a small sigh, I walked along the bank, my head sitting against my chest while I thought things over. My name is Leo Conan. I seem to have some sort of animal ears, I am seventeen years old, and I can't seem too remember anything more. Then I felt it. It was raining, already having soaked me. How could I not have noticed this before? How stupid am I? Why can't I talk? Why am I here? I rambled to myself in my head and balled my fists. It's fine, weird-boy. Just because you don't remember doesn't mean you forgot.

Justin was never good at following directions. He had watched the whole scene. The man smiled as Chloe waited to die. "Stupid girl. You didn't think I'd leave you did you?" He whispered to himself.

Tereshi's eyes and gun darted towards Justin.
"You better run, if you know what's good for you." They put their gun away and focused their powers on the wind, creating two energy balls this time.

Something made the hairs on the back of my neck stand, and I looked around. It was early in the morning, maybe around six, if I was lucky. As far as I know, luck is not smiling down on me, though.

Realizing Justin came back, Chloe began to grow annoyed. "Justin! You useless piece of poop! Get OUT of here."


Justin raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, You're going great, juuuuust great."

"Shut up."

Justin looked at Tereshi. "By the way, I don't run. I teleport." He teleported next to Chloe, grabbed her wrist and teleported as far as his powers would let him.

They ended up outside the building. Chloe looked at Justin, "You better learn how to run." They took off running.

"That's right. You better run. But you can't escape my powers...!" Teresi went outside, and saw them running.
"Because whatever I touch becomes a weapon." She hurled the energy ball as fast as she could towards the two, then grabbing her gun and shooting many bullets at the same direction.

Huma studied the scene below him. Perching upon a rooftop he was given an excellent view if how things played out. He wanted to step in at some point. But the more he prepped the worse he felt.

But as one prepared to attack the other he felt intervention was needed. Pulling his coat off he dropped from his perch, thudding behind the one creating weapons out of the wind. He reached out resting his hand on their shoulder. "Now is that really such a wise idea? You could attract the attention of those sleeping."

When I got to the source, three people stood there. One was in the middle of speaking, and I only caught the last of there words.
"...attract the attention of those sleeping."
With a huff, I nodded with that statement. And those awake.

Chloe ran swiftly, looking back to see Teresi firing at them. She glanced at Justin, who was panting. "You need to exercise more." Chloe turned into a wolf and easily dodged the energy balls. She just hoped she would be able to dodge the bullets as well.

Justin wanted to teleport, but the motion of running made it hard to concentrate. He bit his tongue, wanting to snap a comment back to Chloe, but saved his breath for running. He barely dodged the energy ball. He could feel the heat on his back.

Huma growled as his help arrived too late. Throwing his coat on he looked to the bullets, focusing his every just before them and allowing a ferociously bright flame to envelop them. Melting them as they passed through.

Stopping the flames as the n continued to fall he slipped back, rage beginning to flare up at the use if such a hot blaze.

"At least I'm not slower than a snail!" Teresi touched the water with her fingers and memorized it. Then she ran towards the two as fast as she could, trying to go to the pace of a small quick kitten, which was really how fast she could go. Then she created a hydro blast towards their direction. They were twitching insanely, until their sanity became nonexistient.
"You're not getting away with this...!" Then the hydro blast was released, and she still kept running after them.

Eris walks around the forest, until he saw Justin and Chloe.
"Looks like a bunch of Forgotten are in my way." He created chains made out of shadows and they went over the two, until engulfing them and creating a cage made out of chains, which the engulfing chains created until sinking back to the ground
"Looks like I got meself two birds with one stone."

Bertil sat in the corner of an abandoned building. Charlotte was asleep, curled up against his stomach. The male closed his eyes, focused on the sound of the rain. In the faint distance he could hear a battle. Maybe he'd stay away from that area for a while.

Bertil carefully removed his coat, so he wouldn't wake up Charlotte. He draped it around the young girl so she'd have a blanket for the cool weather.
