Friends?

So... I have a hard time making friends in RL (mostly because my hobbies and interests clash with those around me). I just wanted to look for some people I could chat with about similar interests or listen to suggestions to learn about things they like. Stuff like that.

I'd also like to just meet some new people. Make some new friends. It'll be a nice thing to do.😊

I'm really into art. I draw and paint all the time in my spare time. I'm also studying to be a makeup artist, hopefully for film makeup! 😊

You could join clubs. I had trouble making friends too (I'm homeschooled so that was my problem). My parents joined a homeschool club and now I have tons of friends.

I love reading and writing.^^

But I also love art (I'm practicing to get better). I'm studying to become an animator and comic book writer/artist actually.😃 Wow! I actually wanna do film makeup on the side. The kind where prosthetic pieces are used. Is that the same kind of makeup you're studying?😃

I really like horror and fantasy and anything based on true stories. 😊
The deltora quest serious is probably my favourite. Right now I'm in the middle of Dracula, although I've already read it ages ago. 😋

With studying that, do you study one type of animation or just animation in general? 😊
I had wanted to study animation and film at one point, but I was put off the idea of university so I dropped that idea. xD

No, I don't study prosthetics. 😊 just with like paint and modelling wax. 😊
I'd love to create latex pieces though to use! I've watched a ton of videos on how to make those, but I haven't bothered buying any of the stuff to have a go yet.
Its hard to find places that teach it, but there's this film makeup school I was looking at I want to go to one day, it teaches all that. Its $11k for the year though, so I won't be going for a looong time. xD

My favorite books can actually be found on my profile @charm556.^^ But some of the books that made the most impact on my would be the Warriors series (I've since stopped reading them but I grew up with them and solidified a lot of my way of thinking today) and also the His Dark Materials series (I became obsessed with daemons after reading it and made soooo much research on them).

I don't like horror much as I get scared easily but I love fantasy as well.^^ I'm particularly fond of anything involving talking animals, fantastic settings, and dragons.

Hehe, I never really outgrew watching cartoons and animated movies so that's what inspired me to become an animator. Aside from that, my childhood growing up with comics (particularly ones from DC) inspired me to become a comic writer/artist as well.

Learning animation encompasses all types of animation. From traditional to 3D.😊 To be honest, I haven't started studying yet (I'm practicing on my own) but I'll be entering college to study it in the next few months.c:

That's expensive!😱 But if it's your dream, go for it! That's why I'm studying animation despite the ridicule I receive for cartoons being "for children".XD
