Personality: Diana is intelligent and introverted. She enjoys school and loves to learn. She also has and extremely strong moral code. Her hobbies are reading, playing soccer, and swimming. Because of her past, she is cynical and slow to trust, but if she trusts you, she will never betray you. She may seem cold and sarcastic at first, but she is very kind and has an excellent sense of humor. She has a vicious streak though, if you threaten her or those she cares about.

History: Diana was born in a suberb of Washington DC, and lived there until she was eleven. When she was four, her twin brothers, William and Henry, were born. She was fiercely protective of them. They often took day trips into DC, and learned a lot about US history. This may be where she picked up her love of learning.
When she was ten, the family went to San Fransisco. They stayed for a week, and Diana got on the plane feeling happier than she had in her life. But that didn't last. No one knows what happened, but as it was crossing the Rockies, the plane nosedived and slammed into the mountain face. Most of the passengers, including her and her brothers, survived. Her parents unfortunately didn't.
So Diana had to take care of her brothers. They were put into the foster system and she knew if she let them go, she wouldn't see them again. But after two years, an offer came up. There was a man who wanted to adopt her. Just her though. Not her brothers. She didn't want to go at first, but she was told that her brothers would be placed near her, and that she would get o help pick their family. They never were. She was left in upstate New Yark without her brothers, and with no way to contact her social worker.
Her adopted father wasn't a kind man. He had just wanted a teen to cook and clean for him, nothing else. She wasn't allowed to leave the house after school and she was neveer allowed to do what she wanted. She was always working. The only thing that kept her going was the fact that she knew her brothers needed her.
She knew she had to find them. After a year and a half of waiting, she had to acknowledge that they were never going to show up in Nowhere, New York where she had been placed. She ran away, and went back down to New York City. She went to the office of her adoption agency, only to find it closed. With no leads, and nowhere else to go, she made a place for herself in New York City. She frequented homeless shelters, and scavenged from dumpsters. She tried to avoid stealing when at all possible, but sometimes she had to. She could've left, but she was still holding on to the slim hope that she might find her brothers.
Things got easier after the war ended. She paid much attention when it started, as she'd still had a home, but now that it had ended, it was easy to see the difference. Everyone was happier, more carefree, more wastful now that they weren't on strict rations. She had a good dinner and was almost asleep when something started poking her. She reached to push it away without even looking, and as soon as she made contact, there was a bright flash of light.
Diana sat up in a grassy field. There fox-like creature sitting next to her. When she glanced at it, she saw that it had nine tails. (nine!) It got up and trotted towards a group of buildings on the far end of the field. Having no idea where she was, and nothing better to do, she followed.

Personality: Grove is playful and sassy. He is also kind and helpful. He can speak to all of the dreamer's creations and often helps them with their chores and/or assignments.
History: Grove was the dreamer's first creature creation. She had made stationary objects before, but never living beings. She found a picture on the internet and it inspired her. He has become her pet and helper for the running of her dream world. That is, until she discovered his talent.
Grove can sniff out magic. Not the type, just whether or not a person can use it.The dreamer discovered this about the time the war on Earth with the magical creatures ended. So she sent him to Earth to find other magic users. Diana was his first find, so he was very proud to bring her back and present her to the dreamer.
