I'm New (obviously) and how does things work here?
I need a friend... How does the egg hatch?

*i tried the mysterious asteroid... how come i didn't get anything?*

Hello! Welcome to Egg Cave - we are a very friendly, bustling community, as well as a fast-growing one! 😊 The Mysterious Asteroid yields a creature only very rarely, so it's very difficult to get one. Not everybody gets an Asteroid Creature on their first day! Are you having fun here?

An egg hatches when it reaches the required level of views, clicks or feeds. For example, the Diablos you have now requires 2500 views to hatch. Views on forums ETC. Clicks happen as soon as a user clicks on a creature on your cove, and feeds happen when a user clicks one of the food items near the creature. To write a description, press the icon next to your own creatures, and you will be taken to a screen. Then, you're free to edit as you wish. I see you haven't a status - you can set one in your public profile (by either clicking your name or accessing it in the 'my stuff' dropdown menu)

Hello and welcome 😃 If you want to know how to hatch a certain egg, you can look in the archives, it will say the requirements for most of the eggs. You get views whenever people see the picture of you egg (aka when they look at your profile or in case of your diablos also on the forums), you get clicks when people go to your eggs profile page & feeds when they feed the pet. The easiest to hatch if you're active are the ones that need views, since posting on peoples wall/the forum/the site blog will also get your pet views, views only update once a day though, so don't get discouraged 😉

You can either buy rares (when they're available) from the Cash Shop Park, or sometimes they're released for free in the Cave for a limited time. If you miss them while they're available, the only way to get them is through trading.

However, the only exceptions are Mo's and the Asteroid Creatures, which are always available but VERY rare (I think the Mo not so much these days...); those take luck and patience to acquire.

I hope that made sense, but if not, feel free to ask for clarification (I won't be offended 😉)

Sure, you can send a request 😊

You're getting views right now when people click on this thread. Or if you post on the Blog, same thing. Or whenever someone visits your profile. So, really, they don't have to go to the egg's profile to earn a View for you (views are the easiest to gain 😊)

And the pinging (@ followed by the user's name) doesn't work for creatures, just people 😉
