In Wyvern's Court {Sign-Ups}

Wyvern’s Court, capital to Wyvernhallow, is home to the Queen Diana and her son Jonathan. Wyvern’s Court is home to many more peculiar characters. And despite the Queen’s harsh ban on magic aside from those she has hired to aid in her hunts for magic users, a majority of these characters tend to be of magic descent and bear magical properties.
Of course anyone found visibly performing, practicing, or showing magic is instantly sent to the dungeons and given trial deciding their fate. Be it death via multiple methods or torture.
But as time wears on a group has sprung up, decidedly finished with this harsh rule. And they will set things right, and they will free the magic.

{Rules}

- No Sue’s, God-Modding or Powerplaying
- No instantly killing off or harming someone’s characters, give them a fighting chance and ask before you kill someone’s character
- Keep genders even
- Human’s cannot have powers, no exceptions.
- No one is to be related to the Wyvernhallow Queen or Prince, but of other kingdoms yes
- Keep everything PG, and wait until page 4 to start killing others characters
- Max of three powers per character and weaknesses must balance the powers out
- This RP takes place in medieval times, so no technology, and keep with the clothing styles and weapons of that time period
- If you’ve read the rules put your character's eye color in code
- Keep drama to a minimum, that gets boring to deal with after a while
- Do not have your character be overpowered or showing off their powers, that will get them locked up killed and/or tortured
- Be literate and try and post 3+ sentences per each and every post
- Not everyone is able to bear magic, we need humans in the mix as well
- RP Sample is not needed for every form in a single post, but if you make a form in a new post it is needed again
- If you have read and understood the rules put your character’s favorite animal in code

Name: Alyss Ravenhallow

Looks: Standing at about six foot four, Alyss has dirty blond hair raggedly cut to about her jaw line. Her hair sits in thick wavy curls. She has ivory skin and blue-gray eyes.
Species: Sorceress/Seer
Clothing: She wears a light brown tunic like shirt with dark brown pants, and boots. A weapons belt wraps around her waist carrying her knives, and a quiver is thrown across her back when she is out.
In the winters she wears a dark hooded cloak.
Job: Court physician and part-time field physician.
Weapon: She wields a set of sharp ax like knives, small and deadly alongside throwing knives and a recurve bow and arrow.
Powers(If applicable): Magic in all forms, as a seer she is also able to see that which most cannot-the future, and past, people’s auras, and sense other magic users.
Weaknesses: Powerful spells require more focus from her and can often drain her. She is not able to control when she senses other magic users and the whole process usually acts like a faint and irritating buzz. Her visions come to her in her sleep, or knock her cold when they strike. She is always able to see someone’s aura. It hangs around them like a faint glow all the time.
Personality: Alyss is usually reserved and a bit cold. She takes her job as physician very seriously and she tends to be more gentle when caring for patients.
Towards her friends she can be shown as sassy, sarcastic and a bit rude.
Other: Alyss is the child of King Axel and the late Queen Mariana, and as such she sits as the former Princess Alana of Idris. Giving up her own chance to rule was her own choice and she willingly abandoned a harsh Kingdom in favor of the gentler Wyvernhallow, changing her name to Alyss as she did so. And as such only two or three people know of her true identity.

RP Sample:
Alyss perched nervously on the seat before the Queen. This was her first time meeting with royalty and introducing herself of a lower status, and honestly the whole thing unnerved her.

Having shown her proficient healing skills as well as combat skills upon a prior meeting the Queen was now to judge what use an assumed traveller would be in her kingdom.

Nervous Alyss glanced up at the woman before her, standing at a movement from her hand as she was summoned forth.

“Alyss Ravenhallow of the outlying Reymont town, your skills have been judged and you will now pass through with your new jobs. From this moment on you shall serve as Physician, aiding Alistor in his works. And when travelling parties of Knights head out you shall go with them, serve as a field physician.” The Queen stated, watching the woman below her bow deeply.

Alyss hid a grin as she bowed, such an honor to help in such a way. She was excited, and at least as a field physician she’d be able to aid Cole in his own job as well.

Looks: Cole has a shock of dark brown hair and bright green eyes. He is about five ten, and has lightly tanned skin.

Clothing: Cole wears clothing fit to train in, and usually is in a practice shirt and pants with a chainmail shirt up over it all. He has his sword snug on a belt around his waist.
Job: Knight
Weapon: He uses his sword.
Powers(If applicable): He has magic in all forms.
Weaknesses: Magic requires great mental strength, and the more powerful a spell the more drained he becomes.
Personality: Kind and bubbly. He enjoys the presence of others and is quick to befriend people. Although earning his full trust takes a while, he can still trust people. But not to the extent he can trust others.
Other: He is part of a peace treaty agreement with Wyvernhallow and Skarra, sent there as part of a Knight Exchange.

Cole held the bag beside him as he left view of the rest of his former party. Once he was safely out of view, a simple levitation spell was stated, and before him the bag began to hover. Sticking close to his side as he trekked on.

It wasn’t until he heard a voice beside him that he realized he was being watched.

“So are you able to sense other like me or is your skills limited to the usual magic skills?”

Jumping, and nearly dropping the bag Cole turned to face the girl beside him. She bore a grin that showed no trace of amusement, but none of no emotion either. And he nearly stumbled back as her face fell at his reaction.

“Wow, I’m hurt.” she said in a mockingly pained voice. “I didn’t know my face had that effect on people. Best to keep it hidden in shadows then.” she said pulling up her cloak’s hood. “Although I was serious about that sensing other magical beings. Is it just me or is it something everyone has? The only other magic user I spoke to was my mum, and it wasn’t a thing for her.”

“I cannot I’m afraid.” Cole said shaking his head. “But it is good to meet you. My name is Cole.” he added, introducing himself. This person seemed approachable enough at least.

Age: 26

Looks: He is about five foot four, with shaggy black hair. He has olive tinted skin and deep brown eyes.

Clothing: He wears the clothes of a chef, a white shirt and black pants with an apron and boots.

Weapon: He doesn’t use one. But he has been known to use his ladle on slow moving cooks.

Powers(If applicable): Although unrealized he is capable of manipulating magic in most forms.
Weaknesses: Despite not realizing he has magic every spell must be a verbal spell, and performing magic proves very draining.
Personality: He's out-going, kind and bubbly. He can seem a tiny bit arrogant at first and he has a harsh temper during training.
Other: He realizes not that he has magic.

Clothing: A long pale blue dress with a gold hem. If she's dancing her clothing can vary but it tends to be a dress that goes to her knees and light brown pants. She wears a brown leather belt that she attaches a spool of light blue ribbon to.
Job: Entertainer (specialties are Singing, Dancing and Storytelling)
Weapon: Usually martial arts if she must attack or defend, but can also use throwing knives.
Powers(If applicable): She can read minds, create illusions and use water/ice magic.
Weaknesses: If she isn't making direct contact with the person she can only sense the colors of feelings that the person feels (i.e. red for angry). To delve deeper and get fragments of thoughts she must be in direct skin contact. She'll go into a trance for 30 sec.- 3 min during which she is vulnerable. She'll get a headache afterwards. Illusions take her utmost concentration and the target's complete belief in it. If she is distracted or the target looses faith then illusion wobbles and fades. It costs a lot of energy to make illusions and she may go unconscious. Water/ice magic takes lots of energy to use and depending on the spell could drain her energy and/or health.
Personality: Calm, quiet, and charismatic. She doesn't speak much save for when she sings or tells stories.
Other: She is very graceful and agile. She has a beautiful singing voice.

Aerwyna sat quietly in her room and organized her sheet music. It was a new piece that she was to preform tonight. She sat down and opened her mouth as she began to sing softly. The words tumbled out of her throat and wove through the air. She checked the time on a sundial outside her window and put her music away. She ran her fingers over her dress hoping that it wouldn't wrinkle. It wouldn't do her any good to sound good but to look horrible during her performance.

Name: Freya Hemelia
Age: 24
Gender: Female

Looks: Black hair that is often kept in a braid. Her skin is a lighter shade of brown and her eyes are dark green.
Species: 50% Elf 50% Human

Clothing: A light brown tunic and darker brown pants. Her tunic has a dragon embroidered on the hem. She usually wears a chest plate or a chain mail shirt over the tunic. Her chest plate has a two headed dragon on it, one breathing white colored fire, the other breathing black colored fire. She wears worn leather boots that are very comfortable. She wears a belt with a sword with a jeweled hilt. She also straps throwing knives to her belt. She wears leather gloves. She wears a chain mail "skirt".

Job: Head Guard

Weapon: Sword, throwing knives or bow and arrow.

Powers(If applicable): Light and Dark Magic. Basically she can create orbs of light or shadows. She can manipulate them and become light or shadows. She can create her "magic status" orb. If its more dark colored shadow magic was more used if it's golden more light magic was used.

Weaknesses: Light magic is easier at day and dark magic is easier at night. If it's the "wrong" time of day then, the magic costs more energy/health. Dark magic tends to cost health while light tends to cost energy. The more she uses one the less easy it is to use the other. If she solely used dark magic for example then she'd loose light magic ability.

Personality: Emotionless. She has them buried deep in her
somewhere. Can be coldly logical and is very loyal to the queen.

Other: She is trained in falconry and can be seen accompanied by a peregrine falcon. She is a descendent of the leader of a fierce tribe of warriors that lived in the mountains, there emotions are looked down on so she hides them.

Freya dragged a fearful young girl before the queen. She bowed low before the queen before speaking. "This young sorceress," she spat the word sorceress out as if disgusted by the taste,"was spotted preforming magic. What is your will my Queen?" Freya hardly had to ask. She knew the sorceress would be subjected to imprisonment and be put to trial. Others might feel uncomfortable being the cause of another person's imprisonment. She wasn't like that. Emotion was foreign to her.

Personality: Ella is very generous and caring. She conceals that she is a princess from another kingdom only because she fears being kidnapped. She is always looking for people to help and smiles often.

Other: Ella is the daughter of King George and Queen Markina. She has a huge crush on Prince Johnathan and has an amazing singing voice, and considers herself pretty. She is well liked by the queen and is close to Prince Johnathan

RP Sample: Ella was talking to Queen Diana when Prince Johnathan stuck up the her with his sword. She unsheathed her sword and twisted around blocking his. Looks: Straight silky blue and sea foam colored hair that reaches past her shoulders a little and she has side bangs that goes to the right. Yellow in the center around the pupil then it turns into a dark blue as it goes further for her eyes. She has black wings of a raven that is larger then an actual raven. Also at the height of 5'7 with fair smooth and soft skin.
Species: Half Raven, half witch

Powers(If applicable): Invisibility and storms. Well for invisibility, she can just be invisible to everyone. For storms, she can created lightnings, rain, tornadoes, snow, hail, sleet and etc.
Weaknesses: She can only be invisible for a day, the max is just two days. She has to wait 15 hours before using it again. The weakness for storms is that she can only make a major disaster once every two days and for minor storms she can make it constant only for eight hours then she'll have to wait for 14 hours before using it again. If she does not follow these time limits, they will either shorten the time limit for a period of days, or become weaker for a while until she waits the time for it to be over.
Personality: Shy, quiet, generous, logical, and creative. She cares deeply for her pet and SOME of the kids.
Other: Mula can hide her wings so no one can see them and a witch before her used its own DNA combined with a raven's to make her. She tries to keep it a secret that she is a witch or they'll drown her or put her a flames.

Mula smiled at the children, she was telling a story to the children today.
"There once was faraway kingdom...'," she told them. ".... Although the monster didn't get them, there were other monsters close that wanted to eat them!" Mula made a child like scary face.
Soon the story was over and she packed up. Mula wondered how much longer until the community will find out she is a witch and hunt her down. She sighed and headed out to home watching the guards keenly aware.

@niale All looks good except at this point in time teachers would not be a thing. At most tutors for the wealthy would be a thing.

@lailaluckyseal87 Her being such a lovable character, who has a singing voice adored by all is bordering on sueish. And at the moment the closest any job can be to the Queen and Prince would be a Knight or Guard. And does she have light magic or dark magic? If both she needs to nix one of her other lowers.
And as for her relationships with the Queen and Prince that's something I'd need to agree upon separately. Having a crush is fine, but as they're my characters, granted not directly used, I'd still have to approve of the relations they maintain.

Personality: Remino's a wildcard. He always has this capricious behavior, and is often described as moody.

RP Sample:
Remino walks by himself in the roads, not caring if they bumped into anybody or get insulted for it. It felt like it's just normal for him to get bumped and yelled at, but he tried to keep his cool. At any wrong strike he will snap. Snapping in the public would be terrible for him. It would be best if he were to snap somewhere where nobody would judge him.

I feel half asleep doing this.

As for her relations it is possible for her to be friends with Johnathan, he's a very outgoing person, I'm not sure about the Queen. So I'd just leave it at friends with Johnathan.

@purichko can you use the form I provided? The way it is jumbled up is hard to read the separate sections.

Powers(If applicable): She can use magic in all forms. She can cancel all magic effects in a 7 ft radius around her. She can summon Meishra (Meishra is a storm spirit and is female), her familiar spirit.

Weaknesses: Magic can be very draining depending on what spell it is. It can either cost energy or health. Canceling all magic effects includes her own and doing that can be involuntary, namely when she is surprised. It drains energy constantly and can be more costly if people try and use magic anyway. Meishra costs a lot of energy to summon and if summoned to fight on her behalf, Meishra will take 1/4-1/2 of Adrianna's health. If Meishra "dies" then she can't be summoned for 1-2 days.

Personality: She attempts to be emotionless around members of her tribe since emotions are looked down on, but often fails miserably. She's kind, bubbly, and caring. She can be logical like her sister but this side of her rarely shows.

Other: She has high dexterity and agility. She's Freya's sister and since her sister gave up the right to rule, she's now first in line for the throne. She is practically her sister's opposite and has been known to drive Freya nuts. She's visiting Wyvern's Court to study. Meishra often accompanies her in falcon form.

Adrianna wandered through the palace. Her dress fluttered as she walked around. Meishra clung to her shoulder and nipped her ear.

"No, I don't know why my mom and dad think that I need to "study" here. I suppose that I'm supposed to learn how to be queenly from Queen Diana," she murmured to Meishra. Sighing she returned to her room. Maybe she could look for Freya today. It was always enjoyable to annoy her sister.
