What's Roleplay?

I'm a newbie. I don't know anything about roleplay but it seems interesting. Can somebody explain. Thank you to the peraon who explains this. 😃

It's kind of like writing a story except multiple people are involved. One person created a "plot line" for the story, and then other users will create different characters to interact within the story. Users will write from their characters point-of-views. So you're basically writing a book but with the help of other people where you each control separate characters. Did that make any sense? XD It might be easier to just click on a roleplay and scroll through a page or two. You'll figure it out pretty quickly. 😊
