The sun has set for the last time, letting nocturnal creatures rise but gain no sleep. The night becomes an eternal thing, plants weren't grown, life started dying, and it felt like everybody is going to live and die from this. Soon, evil rised from the dark, and terrorized everything who defies the night.
Fast forward a century and a half later, you decide it was time to find the reason of this darkness and bring back the daylight, but it won't be easy.

It is currently the middle of December, and it is snowing for a bit. The time is 11:43 PM.

Eresioria walked around the snow with a bag around her. She shivered at the cold, and felt a bit tired. Her home was nearby, but the closer she got to her home the more fatigue she started to gain.
"Stupid snow... At least it isn't that cold..."

Lycia laughs at the squirrel sticking it's head in the snow and getting stuck. She walks over to it and pulls it out of the ground then she picks it up. "Hey little guy." she says smiling. "Are you ok? You must be frozen! Here." Lycia puts him in a tree and waves. "Goodbye!" She shifts into a snow leopard and pads to her house.

When she gets inside she shifts back into a human and smiles. She makes a sandwich and sits down at the table to eat it. She yawns but doesn't go to sleep. Instead, after eating the sandwich she walks outside and looks for someone to chat with.

Darrien trudged headed through the snow, hiding deep within her jacket. The silence broken every now and again by the shadow at her side.

"Come on now, you can't ignore me forever." They said, the amusement dripping from their voice that seemed to come from no where and every where at once. "I know you don't speak, for whatever reason. But honestly, you think me so lowley to not figure out how to speak to you? I'm offended." They cried out.

Darrien merely glared. She hadn't asked to be bound to the Shadow Wraith. But she had to admit, Kilgah seemed to bring a sense of hope for her situation. Perhaps she could use them to speak to others. Granted they could understand her at least.

▀▀▀▀Aysel was laying down in her wolf form, her eyes shut. Heat from other Weres surrounded her on all sides, making a cozy blanket from the usual frigid cold. Aysel sighed and shifted onto her side, unable to fully fall asleep. The constant unending shadows at first had been fine. Werewolves were naturally creatures of the dark. Soon, good prey started becoming scarce, and the winters had always been the worst. The body's of her tribemates becoming skeletons. Aysel was too scared to look at her own reflection now, fearing she'd see the same in herself.
▀▀▀▀Her stomach clawing with hunger, Aysel wriggled out of the pile of Weres. She shivered as her bare pads came in contact with the fresh snow blanketing the land. She trotted towards the skeleton's of trees, sending one last glance over her shoulder at the pile of her sleeping tribemates. She was unsure whether or not she'd return.

Lycia turns into a wolf and trots around, ignoring the cold. She sees Aysel and bounds up to her and turns her head sideways. She wags her tail, happy to meet a wolf to play with.

▀▀▀▀One paw after another, one paw after another... Aysel repeated over and over in her head. Her stomach growled fiercely. Aysel had lost track of how long she'd been walking, whether for a couple minutes or a couple hours.
▀▀▀▀The Were paused for a moment when the scent of another Werewolf flooded into her nose, mixed with something---strange. The other she-wolf was in direct sight in seconds.
▀▀▀▀It took Aysel a moment to realize that the other Were's posture was quite playful. She stared dumbfounded for a moment, then responded with a playful yip.

Lycia yips back and senses she is a werewolf. She began to talk to her. "Hello!" she said in a cheerful voice. "I'm Lycia, what's your name?"

Eresioria finally made it to her home. Despite being able to phase through walls whenever she liked, the bag she carried wasn't able to. She then opened the door, getting inside, and closing behind her.
"When will this darned month end... I'm already freezing right now..." She looked outside her window, and saw two wolf-like creatures outside.
"Huh...? Who are these creatures..."
Eresioria then placed her bag on a table, containing a journal, a few matches, and some bread. She then continued to peek outside the window.
"Doubt anybody else but myself is awake... I wonder what they're doing so late at night?"

Darrien looked up startled as she heard movement not too far off. Her hand jumping to one of her blades she grimaced into the darkness.

Kilgah on the other hand seemed to grin, their voice carrying the hints of it. "Well, we may as well go look for the source of the noise. You won't be sleeping any time soon anyways." They added, in a drawling voice.

▀▀▀▀"Aysel of the Rising Moon," Aysel responded, wagging her tail in polite greeting."Well--- the fallen Moon now." She added after a moment, wincing at her poor joke.
▀▀▀▀She examined the she-wolf curiously. Aysel still couldn't make out what that other strange smell was. Lycia seemed like a normal werewolf, but at the same time she didn't..

Eresioria then looked away. "Nothing intresting... I guess I'll have to sleep." She approaches the upstairs portion of her home, where her bed is. She then approaches her bed and started to sleep. She yearned for the sun to rise once more, but clearly couldn't.

Lycia giggles and begins to howl. She howls loudly and wags her tail while doing it. She glances at Aysel and stops howling. "Howl!" she says playfully and begins to howl again.

▀▀▀▀Aysel cocked her head at Lycia's sudden request, thinking it a bit strange. She threw up her head and howled anyway, blending her "voice" with the other Were's.
▀▀▀▀It felt good to howl again, there hadn't been much to celebrate in her tribe for many moons. Regardless, here she was, howling joyfully with a wolf she'd met five seconds ago.

Lycia howls until her stomach growls with hunger. She stops howling and turns to Aysel. "Are you hungry?" she asked. "I know I am."

"We can go to my place and get food. Where is your pack?" she asks curiously.

Adrianna trudged through the snow. The moon hung high in the sky. She really ought to go to sleep, but she felt like wandering. Her wings appeared as large bat wings currently, as the ice dragon portion of her was practically in paradise right now. An ethereal phoenix followed her and it looked utterly disgusted at the frost. She tugged her cloak closer to her body and continued walking.

She soon heard a haunting howl. Dangerous potentially. Take my advice and don't head towards that noise said the Ice Dragon part of her. "I'm headed that way anyway," She thought,"It'll be nice to see some sort of life form." Bad idea the Ice Dragon snapped back.

▀▀▀▀Aysel's ears perked up at the mention of food. She stopped howling, letting the noise be swallowed up by the belly of the darkness.
▀▀▀▀"Yes!--- please." Aysel begged.
▀▀▀▀Aysel flicked her ear uncertainly, wondering what to tell the other Were about her tribe. Lycia seemed pretty friendly, and Aysel didn't want to just flat out lie.
▀▀▀▀"Um, I'm a loner," Aysel explained without going into further detail. Not exactly a lie, but not the whole truth either.

"You never think my ideas are good ideas," she thought at the ice dragon. Humph the ice dragon replied.

Adrianna began walking towards the noise. Soon she saw some wolves. Hmm... not plain wolves. More like werewolves. She walked a bit closer but remained vigilant just in case.

"I don't know what you're thinking, but this'l be interesting," the ethereal phoenix said.

I told you SO the ice dragon practically screamed.

"I don't mean you any harm," Adrianna said cautiously, while eyeing the werewolf's teeth,"I just heard your howls and wanted to make sure nothing bad was going on..."

The ethereal phoenix beat its wings and landed on Adrianna's shoulder as if reminding her she could always fly off or shape shift into phoenix form worst case scenario.

▀▀▀▀Aysel wagged her tail, following Lycia. She stopped in confusion when the other Were started growling. Aysel's muscles tensed in response.
▀▀▀▀A humanoid creature with the strong scent of phoenix and dragon practically flowing from her in a steady stream was standing a short distance away.
▀▀▀▀She cocked her head, examining the newcomer and wagging her tail slowly in an nervous manner.

She quit bearing her teeth and looked at her confused. How could she know Lycia was a werewolf? "Ok. Fine. We are hungry and need food, want to come?"

"Sure," she replied glad there wasn't gonna be a battle. She glanced at the other werewolf curiously. I still don't think that move of yours was super logical the ice dragon muttered. Adrianna stretched her wings slightly, since they were starting to feel cramped. The full moon reflected off their white scales.

▀▀▀▀Something shiny caught Aysel's eyes. It took her a moment to realize it was wings--- scaly dragon wings. This only added on to her growing uneasiness.
▀▀▀▀Aysel nodded in greeting, unable to commune with anything other than another Werewolf in this form. Lycia must have some powers I don't.. she realized. She pondered if this was from the other scent coming from Lycia that Aysel couldn't identify.

Adrianna dipped her head back in greeting at the other werewolf. She sensed this werewolf's discomfort and noticed the werewolf had noticed her wings. She pulled them shut once more. They disappeared under the folds of her cloak. She felt slightly embarrassed about her wings now...

Oh come on! They let you FLY. It doesn't matter too much that they're surprised by your wings the ice dragon cried.

The ethereal phoenix cawed in a haunting voice. She assumed it was greeting the others. As long as the ice dragon was part of her, she wouldn't know precisely what the phoenix aspect thought of the situation.

▀▀▀▀Aysel trotted happily after Lycia through the snow. She glanced back now and then to see if the girl with dragon wings and a phoenix was following them.
▀▀▀▀Aysel paused as they approached what Lycia had called "my place." She was a bit surprised to realize Lycia had meant an actual human house, instead of the usual moss and twigs Aysel was used to.
▀▀▀▀She shifted into her human form to get inside. (Her wolf form a bit too wide to get through the doorway.) Aysel shivered as the protection of her fur coat left her, leaving her to fend for herself with the full force of the cold. She was move than glad to hurry inside.
▀▀▀▀"You live here?" Aysel asked curiously, trying to look at everything at once.

Adrianna followed them in. She had to clamp her wings closer to her body in order to get in. Sometimes she thought those wings were unnecessarily unwieldy. Not completely caring what others thought, she opened her wings a bit wider allowing them to stretch.

"Yeah." Lycia says. "Why?" She smiles and turns the light on, glad she had cleaned earlier. She makes sandwiches and hands them out. "So, what else do you want? Some water?" she asks.

Adrianna took a bite of her sandwich. "Yes, some water would be terrific, thanks," She said. The ethereal phoenix craned its neck to scan the room. Adrianna stroked the phoenix although her hand half passed through it.
