Occasionally I see topics that were started years ago, left for a long time, and only replied to again recently, in which the mods then lock the topic with the reason "Please do not bump older, inactive topics to the top of the Livepulse.".What I'm proposing is an automatic system that locks inactive topics after a set period of time, and covers all topics equally. AND/ORAn option when you make a topic to only have it open for a set period of time, should the poster want to use it.This would save some trouble for people offering give aways/contests/art request/etc for a limited time, and would remove subsequent bumping.

@winnona I like the automatic locking of old topics idea. It would save a lot of time!

@winnona Wholeheartedly support this! :> I see a lot of newbies making the mistake of replying to older topics, just to get them locked by mods. The scheduled lock is a great idea too! Maybe they could add an option where you can lock your own topics?

@winnona, @raccoon, and @fakeworld, I think ur right! They just make that simple mistake.

@winnona YESS 😃 I agree SO much. Sometimes, I get lazy and never check when the topic was old. Then I get into trouble T^T. And I feel really humiliated...

@raccoonI already put in a suggestion for locking your own topics in the original post. But thank you for your interest. 😊@fakeworld @greengrass100100 @qerratThank you for your interest, too! I feel it could help the mods out in the long run, and save the newbies from some embarrassment if it gets implemented.

Great idea! I always forget how old a topic is, and when I get in trouble T_T . But i don't wanna start like a million stories.
