There are few in this world who believe in the existence of the supernatural. Few who can stand by the belief that demons walk this world with us. Few who can even see them under the glamours. And as the saying goes, seeing is believing.

In most parts of the country those capable of viewing these creatures are designated to hunt them. Designated to drag them down from their perches and drive them back to Hades from whence they sprang. They are the hunters and they are the protectors of this world.

{About Demons}

Demons have a very limited emotional depth and as such they cannot form bonds with others and as such they do not have relationships, although they are capable of having friends it is very rare for this to happen as Demons are usually solitary creatures, relying on their own skills as opposed to that of other demons. They are usually averse to large populations of humans and prefer to cause havoc for a short while before moving on. Each demon is unnaturally strong and quick.

There are more than one type of demon. And each type has a different set of abilities and weaknesses. Although all demons are weak to enchanted weapons, holy water, gold and salt. And all demons can grow a set of large black feathery wings.

Trickster Demon Trickster demons have a human body, their eyes glow, their ears are pointed as are their teeth. Trickster demons are capable of teleportation, bringing things in and out of reality, levitating and playing mind games with people. They need a constant flow of energy and so are often found with sugary foods and drinks. The best way to take them down is to bind them in iron to negate their powers. Unlike most kinds of demons, Tricksters are unusually curious about human life.

Polymorph Demon Polymorph demons have no set natural form. Although they are able to take on the form of humans. They can alter their appearance at will. They are identifiable by the two aspects they cannot change regardless of form-their full colored eyes, in which the iris covers the entire eye, and by the distinctive pointed fingernails. It has been shown that these demons have negative reactions with silver, and so it is best to bind them with it. Unlike most kinds of demons, Polymorphs are more drawn into groups of other Polymorph demons.

Therian Demon Therian demons have the natural form of an almost human, with distinctive animal features. They can take on the shape of any mundane animal or any combination of a mundane animal. In any form they are given away by their eyes which glow in any light. Iron and silver is capable of negating their powers and binding them. Unlike most kinds of demons, Therians are more capable of deeper emotions.

Elemental Demon Elemental demons naturally have attributes of their associated element. They are capable of manipulating that element. Elemental demons must return to the place their element is most abundant to renew their powers after a short period of time. They are distinguishable by their pointed finger nails and glowing eyes. Copper negates their powers and allows them to be bound. Unlike most kinds of demons, Elementals are bound to the place they pull their power from, making it impossible for them to leave it.

The Hunters are people designated to hunt down demons. Their Sight is usually passed down by their parents, or through family. They are born naturally agile, they have excellent stamina and more than average strength. They are gifted fighters and are usually quick witted. They usually fight with weapons created of metals that harm demons. And they always carry around gold bindings for the demons they hunt down.

Hunters have been shown to carry slight magical abilities, and are capable of performing a limited set of spells to aid in the hunting of demons. These are usually limited to healing magics, magic markings, defensive magics, and glamours. Magic markings are capable of being inked into one’s skin and improving either their speed, sight, fighting skill and aiding in glamours. The markings can be given to a non-born hunter to gift them with sight and skills, although this is only done in cases in which one’s entire family has been eliminated by demons.

- No Sue’s, God-Mods or Powerplaying
- Give all characters a fighting chance when in a battle
- Keep everything PG-13 and in accordance to forum rules
- No severely harming other characters until page 4
- Keep drama to a minimum
- Be semi-literate and post 3+ sentences per post
- Max of four characters, and you cannot have more than two demons and more than one demon in a given type
- No demons working with the Midnight Crew please
- I want a completely random fact about your character in other
- No hybrids between demon types, or humans and demons
- All creatures are limited to what is stated above
- I’m only accepting three of each demon type and I’m only accepting five people into the RP
- All hunters are a member of the Midnight Crew
- Keep all things even, I will stop accepting characters if there’s an uneven number of anything be it gender or demons and hunters
- Be kind to others and keep OOC to a minimum on the main page
- Put your characters theme song in code if you have read and understood the rules

Looks: Idris is about five nine, he has unkempt and somewhat spiky raven black hair. His face is covered in freckles, and his eyes are a deep unnatural honey-gold color. As a Trickster Demon, he has pointed ears, glowing eyes and pointed teeth.
Clothing: He usually wears a suit and tie.

Personality: He is cunning, mischievous, manipulative and upbeat. He tends to talk fast and talk a lot. He is genuinely curious about most things.
Past: Idris for the first 346 years of his existence never set foot on Earth, instead staying in his own realm to practice and train. When he first traveled over he was in awe of everything and immediately took a liking to the place. And he now resides here permanently, causing mischief to those who deserve it.
Other: He enjoys pranking to cold and rude more than anything.

Personality: She is caring, and kind. Open to her friends and family she is a trusting person. She acts like the Mother of the hunters, and is always there to help them. Even if she has her own problems to deal with.
Past: Roxanne was born into the hunting life, her parents both successful at their jobs. She was fifteen when she lost then, nearly done with her training she threw herself into her work set on avenging them. She long since avenged her parents, but now she strives to live up to their legacy.
Other: Roxanne adores animals and books.

Main Weapon: A small, light sword with an obsidian hilt.
Back Up Weapon: Throwing knives, or anything light that she can throw.
Personality: Callie is a bit selfless and will protect her friends for as long as she lives. However, she is also counterdependent and has an obsession with money.
Past: Callie lived near the ocean in a small town above the water. She learned how to use a sword and throwing weapons. Her father died as she got older, and her mother left her as it occured. Callie's town then got destroyed, and she grew up to be a huntress wandering around the planet.
Other: Callie and Cax are twins, although Cax does not know this.

Past: Cax was born in the same place where Callie was, but both were seperated at the age of 4. He forgotten who Callie was. As he got older, he started to learn how to use bow and arrows and daggers to protect himself.
Other: Cax is Callie's brother, and they are twins.

Looks: Blonde hair that slowly becomes turquoise halfway up towards the tips. Pale skin, lavender eyes, he has choppy bangs and his hair is medium length. He is at the height of 5'10.
Clothing: He wears a gray t-shirt inside and a plaid flannel. He wears pants that are easy to run in, along with tennis shoes with a silver chain around his necks. Tyler also has a grey beanie on his head.
Main Weapon: A rapier mostly
Back Up Weapon: He has a small box of needles that has poison in them. If they are injected into you then you're poisoned.
Personality: Mild mannered, kind, but sometimes he is very childish, bold, courageous and hyper.
Past: He used to be in fencing class due to his strict mom, and while so he had to take many classes and mostly science classes for him to learn about poisoning.
Other: He despises being touched by strangers and will snap if you do.

Personality: Shy, generous, awkward, and reserved.
Past: She used to have a human friend, but they died later on when she became 80 because of old age. Since she was best friends with that human, she promised herself not to become too friendly to a human.
