12/26/XX

I guess everything's going downhill this time... I guess that means we've messed up. The teleporter core on Earth started to malfunction and a bunch of strange, glitchy things appeared. As I step further towards the core, I feel different, like I can't feel myself, and I fade from existence. I guess I shouldn't have approached it. I thought the Medium project would be something good. I thought the Medium project would encourage space travel...
I've decided. The "viruses" stay. Unless I can fix the core, looks like we're going to be showing these viruses their temporary home...

Edit: 12/26 ~ What's with the viruses... Who was that girl that just decided to break this memo? Now nobody in the galaxy can read this garbled up mess...

Edit: 12/27 ~ I fixed the memo. I hope nothing goes wrong. That girl decided to turn off all power for the entire day so I was unable to fix it. The girl also said her name was Arumo, and being the first one that she saw, she thought I was like a sibling to them. I guess she's my responsibility now.

It is currently 12/28, early in the morning, around 5:30 AM.

Earth, the planet where it all began.
Desdi, a planet first colonized. Giant blue crystals surround the area and giant blue crystal arachnids arrive here.
Ponok, the planet with toxic air, but great rewards.
Fyron, a lava planet. It is extremely hot in here, and there are multiple active volcanoes.
Reversa, a planet filled with huge gray mountain and golem-like creatures.

Arumo looked at Kirio, curious at what they're doing.
"Arumo is confused. What are you doing at the moment?"

Kirio looked behind and saw Arumo.
"Posting the weekly memo or as others like to call it, my journal. I'm letting out news to the entire Earth-Colonized planets by doing so." Even though they're still not used to the rapid scientific advance, Kirio continued to type the memo.
"And it's difficult. It'll take a few days before the news are released to the other planets." Then Kirio's voice then turned soft. "Why don't you go outside and talk to the others? You're new here, I guess you can get some pointers. Just don't go near the warp pads yet."

Arumo nodded.
"Arumo agrees to follow their directions!" They then floated away, and made it outside the large observatory and into the outside. There were a lot of people talking despite the fact it was so early, and it discomforted them. She started to feel nervous, and releases energy from her corrupted hands.
"Wh... Who are you all...?"

Kirio then looked up the observatory, looking at the stars around them and looking for another planet to colonize.
"Seems like there's nothing for now..."
They headed outside, seeing Arumo releasing energy.
"Arumo... Not again..."

Arumo then charges electricity around her, shown by her corrupted body and surges from her hands.

"Arumo, calm down!" Kirio said in a stern voice. If they destroy the observatory, then how will there be new colonies for the next few years?

Arumo looked at Kirio, and started to calm down.
"Why did you leave the comfort of your home?" They floated towards Kirio, and hoped for an answer.

"I don't live there, I work there. Anyways, I'm finally done with the night shift and we can finally get out of here," Kirio said, "I'll show you were I live. It's not far away from here."

Arumo held Kirio's arm, as she followed them to an unusual area close to the observatory. She looked up as she saw buildings tower over her. Then Kirio approached a tall rectangular apartment, with doors at the front and stairs at the side, entrances outside and rooms diverse, with the ones at the top being somewhat small, and the ones at the bottom being spacial.

The two went up one story at the right side, and went two rooms down. Using fingerprint identification, Kirio and Arumo managed to go inside the unit. There was a large bed, a couch, and a TV. There was also a mini kitchen, and it had the vibe of a college dorm. There was a window over the couch, covered by blinds, making it dark. Kirio then approached the blinds, and opened them, creating a bit of light

"And this is where I live. You can sleep in the bed, I don't intend to sleep in it." Kirio said, as Arumo walked around, trying to get herself comfortable with her surroundings.

As Veema woke up, they opened their eyes to see that it's early in the morning. Yawning and deciding that they should get ready for today.
"I don't want to wake up though..." he murmured to himself. Veema stood up and got ready walking out towards the closet doors. "I'm feeling in the mood to look like a girl today, maybe." They dressed in a little yellow dress with flowers for decorations, used make up to look feminine, and wore a wig to match their hair color They got ready to go to work, but who would wear a dress to work? Veema would, their job is just to work at a maid cafe.

(This is kind of like an introduction-like post. My next posts won't have this much slice of life in it.)

Kirio then looked at Arumo with a smile.
"Now that you've seen my room, how about we go have breakfast?"

Arumo tilted her head. "Breakfast? You mean eat in the morning? Who does that?"

Kirio laughed a little. "Almost everybody. There's a café not too far from here, perhaps you want to join?"

Arumo then thought for a second, and then nodded. "Alright! Sure! I won't be going anywhere!" She held Kirio's hand again as they walked outside the unit, the door closing on its own, locked until Kirio opens it.

Walking around the street, they finally made it to the city's square. It felt a bit different. There were strange twisted creatures that looked like Arumo, but some in different shapes and colors.

"Huh? Where did the other viruses come from? I thought they stayed in the observatory..." Kirio got confused. They knew that the viruses that were accidentally created stayed in the observatory, save for Arumo.
"Who let them out...? Aru, let's go." Their voice turned strict, as the two hurried to the café, entering the doors. It was not that empty, as there was a few who were in.
"I actually forgot about the warp pads that lead to the city, to the other colonies..." Kirio felt tired. Doing the night shift was difficult, especially when they've done it since the beginning of this project. "I need coffee."

Arumo sat in the chair opposite of Kirio's, and looked around.
"This is the café? It seems oddly strange."

Kirio then smiled. "What did you expect? It'll take some time before you get used to this place. I wonder what your life prior was like?"

"Well," Arumo said, "I was in control of the warp pads that go to Earth. I recorded every single warp from other colonies that arrived here, and it's very tiresome. Unfortunately, all those records have been deleted ever since I got out of that mess."

Faith wakes up and walks downstairs. She smiles to herself as she looks out the window. "I guess I'm an early bird." She says and twirls her hair around her finger. She walks over to where her food is and looks around. She groans as she realizes there is nothing there.

Faith goes outside and walks to a Café. She sits down at the table and fidgets in her seat uncomfortably. Sensing something is wrong she looks around nervously before scooting towards the corner of her booth and fidgets even more.

Kiby dissolved herself into the mist to not create a commotion of a flying rabbit. Wondering around the place she happily bounced around everywhere.

Veema was at the cafe and got ready by dressing the waitress' uniform. Looking around seeing a customer who just came in. There were three new customers so she chose the one with red hair first. Walking over to the girl smiling with no concerns.
"Hello ma'am, may I take your order for today?~" Veema asked trying to say it in a childish way.

Faith jumps when she hears someone speaking to her and her hair catches on fire. Faith quickly reacts and grabs the tips until they go out, hoping the girl didn't notice she decides what to order. "Sorry, you scared me." she says. "I- Can I just have a water for now?" And then adds, "Please?"

Their face became sincere and had a saddened smile. Writing down the table number and writing down what the girl wanted.
"Alright then, the water shall come soon and please tell me if you need anything else! Have a good time here!" They tried to enlighten the girl by having a cheery tone.

Once Veema was in the kitchen lazy and bored they made the water collect together and poured itself into the empty glass. Coming out of the room with a tray of water to the girl.

Kiby went into the cafe wanting some carrots, lettuce, or cabbage. She was bored of eating flowers and grass all the time so they decided to get something else. The room filled with mist and the temperature fell a little lower.

Faith looks at the kitchen, changing her eyes had showed her something. Veema had odd eyes, like hers when she was in wolf form. She sees Veema coming out and can't help but stare at her unusual, normal, appearance.

"So, what was your life all about?" Arumo asked, wanting to get more info from Kirio.

They sighed, then answered. "I've been alive for a million or so years, and to be honest, it feels like everything just flies by so fast. To be honest, I was born human a few hundred years ago with the name Remio," their voice starting to get more strict by every word. "and I wasn't all that good. I caused chaos wherever I went, and then a nine-taled fox who said their name was Kiromu decided to help me change. Then our spirits fused and we became one, which is why my name is Kirio, Kiromu and Remio. As I got older, I met a friend named Arui, and to be honest, you look just like her when I first saw her. Soon after almost a year we became friends, I got killed, and came back with no control of myself, as if a ghost decided to possess me. Then I got control back, but looked at the destruction I caused... Arui then died during the war that occured a few decades ago. This is where I am now." They looked up, and decided to smile. "I guess that's how my life was.

Arumo nodded. "Looks like you've lived a long life! You don't look a year older! I wonder why?"

"That's an easy question," Kirio answered, "as half gumiho nine tailed fox, that side is responsible for my longlasting age! I don't really like to get close to anybody who has a limited lifespan, because I'll just outlive them."

Arumo then got a bit tired, and started to glitch some more.
"Where's our food? I'm starving! I don't even know why something like my 'species' would even starve! Is eating food important!" Their glitchiness began to grow rapidly, until they were missing an arm.
"...Sorry. I'm an unstable virus; I can't really have a perfect form."

Veema came out to give to girl's water. Knowing that their tail and ears are out they acted normal as it was just a cosplay.
"Alright then! Here is your water! Have you thought of anything to eat or is that all?" Veema asked with a plastered fake smile. Feeling that it was colder they got goosebumps.

"So you say you are half gumiho/fox/whatever, where is this fox form?" Arumo tilted with a concerned face.

Kirio then blushed a little bit.
"You see, when I do so..." Then they were forcefully covered in white light, and out came longer silver hair, ears, and nine white tails, as the light slowly fades away.
"...This happens, which is why I don't transform that much, only for emergencies. And I can't really control when I stop being a fox. There's basically two spirits who are sharing dominance of one person, and one fights for one side, and the others fight for the other, which is why I didn't mean to transform like that!" Their voice started to get quieter by every passing sentences.

"Sorry!" They said outloud, hoping the people in the café would understand.

Faith turns her attention to the people sitting nearby. She looks at the fox person and sighs, making her wolf like appearance disappear.

Arumo then loses her patience and storms outside. Kirio then stood up and went after them.
"Wait! We didn't get any breakfast yet!" They said, as Arumo started to look back at Kirio and run off to a nearby warp pad.
"This is taking forever!" She said with her cheeks puffed, upset and all.
Stepping to the nearest warp pad, she teleports away from Earth.

"Arumo!" Kirio yelled out, as they examined the warp pad and its coordinates.
"She's going to Reversa... That's where all the strong golems are. She's going to get herself killed!" Stepping at the base of the warp pad, Kirio teleports away and into the base of Reversa.

"Good thing the teleporters are close to civilization... Anywhere far and we'd be fighting golems." They said, and heads off, looking for Arumo.

Faith jumps up and follows Arumo and Kirio, a confused look on her face. Regretting her decision, she follows them and calls to them. "Are you okay.. I had to come help you, what's wrong."

Kirio runs towards Faith, explaining the situation.
"First off, Arumo ran off to this planet! She has to be around here somewhere, I just hope they don't run off towards the outskirts of the city... There are various elemental golems outside!"
They quickly headed off with the pace of a hyper fox in search of the childish virus.

Arumo ran as fast as she could, not looking at where she went and where she was heading. Soon, she headed outside the city, and into the wild, where golems reside.
They looked at the amount of golems, but attempted to ignore them as they ran as fast as they could.

Soon, a golem glanced at Arumo, and ran after her.

"Darn!" Arumo exclaimed. Her powers were only limited to corrupting the golem and electricity manipulation, both unavailable to her.
Shapeshifting into a tiny fox, Arumo flees from the towering golem, hoping it wasn't fast like her.

Veema told their boss that they were going to take a break for the day and she changed back into their normal clothing. Walking out and wandering around. He saw a fox and steered away from it. Watching it curiously, but then the golems came and he sighed and had an angered face.
"Why do I have to deal with you?" They asked irritatedly.

Faith nods and follows Kirio, struggling to keep up with them. She turns into a wolf to keep up. "Oh, I hope they are ok!" she says bracing herself for the worst to come.
