Let's Talk About Commons :P

I just want to see what people answer.

Questions:

1) What common is your favorite, and why?

2) What common is your least favorite, and why?

3) Which common do you think will become endangered next?

4) Which common do you predict will never go endangered/extinct?

5) Which common do you have the most of in your cove?


My answers:
1) Floicol, because they're just so beautifully created and I don't know why, but I love them. XD

2) Coona, because I hate the last stage, and I don't have any CC to freeze them with.

3) Spidet, even though I like Spidets. Spidets are the lowest common on the Species Rarity Table, (before the Coona, but I doubt that Egg Cave will make the Coona endangered when it hasn't been available for very long.)

4) Tasma, because they're number 1 on the Species Rarity Table, people love them, and they honestly seem like they'll be an immortal species to me. 😋

5) Yazans, I have a collection of them. I am currently at about 100 Yazans. ❤️

1) Used to be the Ikamifoo, now it's the Farlot. :> They're both extremely cute.

2) Garguaith. I just don't like it's design very much, and it's colors are kind of dull.

3) I have a suspicion that the Whoon will go endangered soon. I'm not sure why, just a feeling.

4) Same as you, Tasma. :> They're just waay too popular.

5) Marlay. I have four. I like mammoth names. ^.^

1) What common is your favorite, and why?

Oooh, I actually like several commons.

I'd say my top favorites are (I'll limit it to five):

1. Floical. It's a beautiful bird creature, which I always appreciate! I just love how the colors pop.
2. Marlay. Elephants are important animals to me. I just love how dignified they look.
3.Savarab, because butterflies (like elephants) have sentimental value to me, and both the second stage and adult are beautiful.
4. Magmish. Such a cleverly executed idea! I just love how well its body flows.
5. This one was hard, but I am going to go with the Gode. It's a bug, sure, which are pretty unpopular around here--but it's probably one of my favorite bug creatures (next to the Leafly and Savarab, haha). There's nothing glitzy about it, but the artwork is stunning. It really looks as though it is about to take flight.

Honorable mentions: Honk, Flor, Frice, Farlot, Kangchroma, Pyraguin, Pinkunk, Ringtail, Soltore, Suckerlop, and Texu

2) What common is your least favorite, and why?

Probably the Coona. It just feels so dated to me even though it's one of the newest cave creatures. :x I know that's kind of harsh, and I feel bad describing an artist's work that way, but I don't know how else to describe it. Maybe it's not just the artwork itself but the concept: it seems more like a seasonal creature (a November monthly? Thanksgiving creature?) than a cave creature. But what do I know?

3) Which common do you think will become endangered next?

I see a lot of people say Yeep, but I think the Yeep is too much of an EC icon to become endangered. 😋 I'd say something like the Garguaith or Flor maybe?

4) Which common do you predict will never go endangered/extinct?

As I mentioned above: Yeep. And probably the Tasma as well, because I can see people going insane if they ever become endangered.
5) Which common do you have the most of in your cove?

I try to limit the number of creatures I have in my cove, but I think I have two Savarabs (adult and frozen second) and two Pinkunks (adult and frozen hatched). I probably have other pairs like that, but those are the ones that come to mind.

Probably the Marlay, I have a huge soft spot for elephants!

2) What common is your least favorite, and why?
The Skreel because it horrifies me. O_O The Coona also makes me sad too because it was my first creature I made when I was first learning the style of Egg Cave and no one really likes it. 😋 Shame it ended up being a common.

3) Which common do you think will become endangered next?
The Tasma I think! It's been around a while and it's a huge hit with everyone so I just think it'll be the next to go.

4) Which common do you predict will never go endangered/extinct?
Maybe the Texu? Idk haha

5) Which common do you have the most of in your cove?
Ahah none, I usually don't have more than one of the same creature unless I'm holding onto them to trade later.

The Pyraguin, because I love the colors of them and I like penguins❤️

2) What common is your least favorite, and why?
Caiman and Pthali, I think both need a bit of a re-color.

3) Which common do you think will become endangered next?
Random guess: Savarab, it just seems like something that would go next, I don't know.

4) Which common do you predict will never go endangered/extinct?
Probably the Yeep as it is/was a running joke around eggcave.

5) Which common do you have the most of in your cove?
Keskos, had an obsession with them when they came out and had a bunch. I think I have around 10-20 ish.

1) Nipha. I would say Tasma if they weren't so overrated, but I've always had a soft spot for tigers 😸

2) Flor. They just look REALLY awkward to me... The adult version.

3) Probably... Skreel. I don't know why, but it goes from egg too adult, and nothing inbetween. And no one likes those

4) Tasmas and Yeeps. Yeeps are Egg Cave main creature, and imagine how many ppeople would quit once they found out Tasmas were rare and they couldn't finish their 1000 Tama hoard or something

5) I think Horsca.

1) Horsca: I absolutely love the second stage!
Also the name and look are very horsy! 😊
I love horses so much! ❤️

2) Snawler: I'm just not the biggest fan of the look, I love the colors, how they look together, but just something bout those whisker like things on its face make me not like it the most.

3) I think for this one I would go with one of these three,
Crabbert, Spidet, or Snawler: All of the looks just kinda give me the feel like the could become an endangered species. I don't know why but I just get that feeling about them.

4) Tasma: There seem to be lots of them and they are right on the top of the charts, so to me it seems very unlikely that they would go endangered/extinct.

5) Rosse and Dinno: Before I auctioned off some of them, I had about 4 or 5 Rosses, and I currently have 5 Dinnos, not counting the 2 I auctioned off recently. 😊

#2 Spidets, hatched ones are creepy

#3 Skreels, don't see that many out there

#4 Tasmas, people would go crazy if they were rare
