@elisamarie7 Welcome 😊 I've only been here a short time, and I've found it quite easy to find people on here to make friends with. Everyone is very friendly 😊

@serenity13moon I'm pretty new around here myself, so I'm probably not the best person to give advice, but I found the Help & FAQ section under "community" in the nav bar very helpful to get started. Any pieces of the puzzle I was missing after that, the forums and the lovely people who frequent them gave me all that I needed to move forward.
