Lower Post Count Requirement?

So, I was thinking we could lower the Creature Description Writing Contest post count requirement. I would like that because people who are new (like me) can write well, but they don't necessarily post that often. I really wanted to write the Yewefoh description, and I had some really good ideas. However, since I'm new and don't want to be just spamming random posts to get to the requirement, I couldn't enter. Could we maybe lower the requirement to 50, 25, or even maybe 15 or 10?

@rickyraccoon I actually agree with you that 100 posts can be too much. I am just on my way to finishing those 100 posts and that was my goal, but I have been crazy around the forums trying to post messages without doing it in a spamming way. And I guess we should participate on the forums for enjoying it, not just for fylling one criteria for entering the contest.

So I support you with lowering the number of posts required, I guess it could be a good idea 😊

@rickyraccon

I thought it was hard at first. But roleplaying makes it easier because there is a lot of activity there.

Yeah. It's kind of hard to join an rp though, especially if it's an everybody rps one thing and no side rps thing.
I tried starting an rp, but nobody's responded yet, so yeah.

@rickyraccon

Ping people so they know or you can join new roleplays. And I got 700 posts. How?

Yeah, I'd say around 30 would be a good limit, or 50 if they really want to keep it higher. 100 is a tall order, especially if someone is new. I have no idea how I got 300+ posts...

@plisser9 Yeah. I wanted so bad to write Yewefoh description, I had so many good ideas, but I was too new. RIP me.
@panda9983 Mind if I ping you for an rp?

@rickyraccoon

I agree with you. I've been on for a few months and I still don't have 100 posts. I really had wanted to join for the Yewefoh too. I think 50 post would be reasonable.

I think this is cool. Even though I've been here a while I still like the idea so new people can post creature descriptions

I personally think 100 is a good amount, because it means you've posted and socialized a lot, so you'll be better at typing, wording what you mean, and all around communicating. 😊

I agree it should be lower. I don't RP (I go to college so I don't have the time) and posting just for the sake of posting doesn't seem right. I would love to enter creature naming contests and stuff but there's no way to get that many posts if you're only on during class breaks and then only 3 or 4 times a week.
