Why doesn't the asteroid give me some eggs I really need some more.... and another thing how can you get eggs from asteroid if it has a question mark over it I'm confused

The asteroid almost NEVER gives eggs...
I have been here over a YEAR and still haven't gotten any...

Don't lose hope though!

also, you can get more eggs from the Egg Cave.

Yeah.
So, there are common eggs, which are basically worth nothing. These are the eggs you can find anytime in the Cave. (but not Mos.) Sometimes, a common found is a "star" egg, which means it has a star in the corner. These are quite rare.
Also, keep a close eye out for seasonal creatures, which come around holidays. The Ghosty is currently the only seasonal creature that came for more than a single year; it is available during October.
