Seeking feedback on art and hoping for some tips!

My lifelong dream is to be an animator (whether it be for movies or TV shows), character designer, as well as a scriptwriter.

I've been working non-stop for the past 4 months (and inconsistently for all the time before that) in order to improve my art skills and I was hoping to get some feedback/opinions/etc. on my work.

I'm usually pretty insecure about my work (because of bad experiences) so please be gentle with any criticisms you may have.

I don't see how people can give you had criticism for your work. They're actually really good! I take it that you are an Animal artist? If so, I guess the people who criticise you are just...JEAAALOUUUSS.... >. <

Thank you very much!😃 Yes, I love to draw animals but I'm beginning to experiment drawing people as well. I'm trying to broaden my skills and draw different things aside from just animals these days.^^

So, if you want to draw humans, I suggest drawing simple stick figures first. That's what I did. The first thing you can elaborate on is eye types. I thing that even if the overall content isn't that good, if it has beautiful eyes, I want it.
Then you can elaborate on body types, like clothing and make hairstyles more...hairy? Yeah. Sounds about right.
Then....uh...accessories and poses! yes, it's good to start off poses with simple figures.
Yeah.

Eye types! That's one of my biggest problems actually. I have this thing where I have a hard time playing with eye shapes. Like, all my eyes are drawn the same. Is that a problem? Does it make all my characters look the same/related?

Thanks for the tips! I will definitely practice on hairstyles (very bad at this.XD) and clothing more.😊

Not all the time... I suggest you draw anime eyes. Realistic eyes are too realistic. I have no idea why xD
