Ash nodded. "I'll be fine." she said, bending down towards Cymolene. Seeing as they were in a dark, shadowy area, she used the shadows to lift Cymolene in the air. They had enough strength just to talk, but moving their muscles would be like having a million tiny knives stab them in the back."I fell through the roof, of course I'm not okay!"Lilith then got upset that she had Cymoline fall down through the roof of a building."Ugh... Why did I even do that...?" She turned her hand cannon back into a sword, and proceeded hiding near the bookstore's entrance."I wanted to alarm them, not potentially kill them," She muttered begrudgingly to herself, "and I'm not killing that moron. They're a moron, but they're also the best mistake I've talked to."

@nightmaremoon12 @lailaluckyseal87 Cylene sighed slightly and concentrated, closing her eyes. She imagined an orb containing her health and then grabbed a bit of it mentally. She opened her eyes and saw that she'd successfully generated a glowing green orb. She directed it at Cymoline and it immediately was absorbed into Cymoline's body. She groaned slightly and stumbled. Then looking at Cymoline. They should be okay now. Or at least mostly ok.

You're literally unable to talk to another human being. A simple thank you?! Really? They saved your limbs, and maybe your ability to walk or run! You should be more thankful than that. "...I'd rather not kill anybody who decided to help me." They argued with their thoughts, and looked out at the bookstore's exit."If you'll excuse me, I got a few words to say to a certain person who I know is responsible for this..."Lilith...!They walked outside the area casually, until noticing a hat behind a piece of rubble near the bookstore.Cymoline closed their eyes, and focused their energy into lifting that rubble.Lilith got shocked to see that her hiding spot was gone. Standing up and looking back, she noticed that Cymoline was there."What do you want?! I'm busy trying to get away from you!""And by trying to get away from me, you decided to peek into that conversation." They opened their eyes, and gently placed the rubble down. "Then you decide to do an attempted murder on me, which is a first."Her childish temper couldn't keep up with Cymoline, so she snapped."You're the one responsible for making me fight that opponent of yours!" She rushed towards Cymoline with her two swords, about to stab them.Cymoline rolled their eyes, until using their telekinesis again to stop Lilith in her tracks by lifting her up in the air."Now you want to kill me? And I thought I was the lunatic here... How's about trying to kill me when I'm in the mood for fighting. I fell down a building because of you, and I'm still wounded both physically and mentally. Now, put the swords back in the sheaths, and I'll drop you down."Lilith wanted to go back down, so the swords turned into two little pill-like objects, which she then placed in her pockets. She was then carefully placed down by Cymoline."Huh? Why are you acting so soft?! I thought you liked fighting?!"Cymoline interuppted her there, "I do, but you're always forcing me to fight, even when I don't want to. I'm not like you, reckless and all, so just let me fight without you forcing me to do so." They walked off the area, hoping Lilith won't follow.

@lailaluckyseal87 @nightmaremoon12 Cylene felt a pounding headache coming on. She looked dizzily at Ash. "Maybe we ought to get out of here," She said. She stumbled then placed her hand on a bookcase to get herself balanced. She hoped there'd be no need for attacking soon. Particularly with her bow as her aim most likely would be off.

Not wanting to fight until they're fully healed, Cymoline decided to ignore them.I'm not going into another fight. Besides... They looked at their revolver, which barely survived the falling.My weapon of choice has been broken. I need a new gun, whether it be slow but powerful, or fast yet weak. They kept the revolver, as it's been with them ever since they had mastered their powers in the city they grew up in. It felt unusual to see something as archaic as this city, considering the fact they've lived in a futuristic place for most of their lives.But enough reminicing about the past. The gun needs a repair, or an upgrade, yet Lilith's the only one they know who can repair it."I'm not letting that kid fix my only weapon. She's going to probably make it the opposite of what it's supposed to do. I'm fine with my revolver, thank you very much." They muttered under their breath, and headed to a quieter part of the city, hoping the two figures don't notice Cymoline.

She pulled her hood up and scanned for any other people. Squinting slightly, she spotted some tiny figures. Definitely too far to see them clearly.

Ash turned back into a human and felt her leg aching worse. She saw it was covered in blood, dried and wet. She winced at the sight of it. "Yikes." She said wiping the blood off, only for more to come and her hand to get stained in blood. @emeraldfirefly

@lailaluckyseal87 Cylene's eyes widened at the sight of Ash's bleeding leg. She shook her head somewhat sadly. "I wish I could heal your leg now, but I need to wait a bit. As I am now, I'd probably wouldn't be able to see straight if I healed you now," Cylene said. She kneeled down to get a better look at Ash's wound.

@lailaluckyseal87 "As of now, we're rather safe. It should be okay staying here, at least until we have a complete plan," Cylene began,"We'll need some food. That's a certain." Cylene found a scrap of cloth that was stuck to a piece of rubble. She looked at it closely and decided that it was sufficiently clean. "Okay, stay still and I'll bandage the wound. That'll at least help keep dust out of it."

It was time for her to venture out, maybe explore the vast torn city she was in. She knew she had to get at least a bit familiar with her surroundings, if she wanted to survive.She sneaked out from the behind the rock, leaving the crowd and sprinting to a quieter part of the city, trying to avoid everyone else at all costs. Sneaking into a concrete arch in the middle of the plains, she sees a slender figure (@nightmaremoon12- Cymoline) with light blonde hair and possibly.. jeans? Should I go to them? I need an ally... they look tough... Ally thought. But then again tough isn't always good. Could they kill me in a heartbeat? Torn between the two sides of her personality, the helpless side and the independent side...She decides to take her chances and comes out of the arch, walking towards the figure until she was in their sight.

What do you want? If it's a fight, then forget about it; I don't have any way to physically harm you, since my only line of offense has broke, and I'm not going without a fair fight, so spit it out so I can be on my merry way."Lilith sighed as Cymoline left her."Abandoned yet again. Cymoline acts different than the last time I talked to them. At first they seemed lively, but now..." She sighed, recollecting her memories of them. "...They're becoming more distant. I can rarely interact with them anymore. Is it because of what happened before they got dragged here?" She then decided to go to another part of the city, this time the outskirts. The city eventually turned into a jungle with tall and mighty trees. Buildings nearby became engulfed by greenery. It was like a solarpunk dystopia.But the sky was getting dark. Lilith needs to find some temporary shelter. The buildings in the city could barely support a single person, let alone a young girl with heavy arms.

They sounded intimidating to Ally, and she was regretting her decision to socialise."I come in peace." Oh my god Ally. You're not an alien. What is with you today?"I-I'm sorry to disturb you. I don't want to be an enemy to you, and I certainly do not want to hurt you in any way. Or fight."Ally had her hands in the air with a startled expression planted on her face, as if she was caught committing a crime."I..." Ally struggled. "I hope we can be allies. I hope we can be on good terms. Maybe we can work together to figure this whole..." Ally looked to her side. "Thing out."

I lost trust to my former friend, my weapon's destroyed, and I have to deal with running for my life from anybody who wants to fight me whilst I'm still vunerable. Sure, I'll be your ally. Name's Cymoline." They reaches their hand out to the girl who just approached them.Lilith looked up. It got darker and darker. Just being in the jungle past midnight would be a bad idea. She noticed a cave with two people inside. Not wanting to be seen, she hid in a bush, a rustling occuring as she kept herself hidden.

She scanned for anything or anyone who might be of use. She heard the arrows in her quiver rustle as she leaned forward slightly. She glanced over her shoulder, assuring herself that they wouldn't tumble out of her quiver and clatter onto the ground.

I can use any firearm, but I chose my trusty revolver because it was my first gun that I ever got before learning how to use others. And about that friend..." Cymoline hesitated for a moment, and then responded. "Her name is Lilith. I've known her ever since we've lived in the same city before we suddenly popped up here, and she's somewhere, alright.""I hope the ones here are better than that oxymoron." Lilith muttered under her breath. She wanted new people to become allies with instead of Cymoline.((I'm planning to make an RP in the city where Cymoline and Lilith lived prior to the events of The Challengers. I wonder if anybody is interested in joining it.))

No real ones at least. Silence filled the air. The sky began to get darker, and the moonlight was creeping in. Ally wanted to get to shelter immediately, as soon as she could. She was unfamiliar with this land, and didn't want to find out what could happen at night.In the near distance, she sees a large building that would have been a few stories high before... whatever happened to it, but now was only 2 floors high. Despite its massive hole at the top which would mean people above could see them a mile away, Ally thought it was good enough for a night. "Do you want to go to that building over there to stay the night?"

They ran towards that building, seeing that it has been broken."It's supports are crumbling, but maybe it's going to hold on for a few more years." They entered, and then examined the room around them."At least two-thirds of this building's interior has been destroyed..." Eventually, Cymoline thought about home for a bit, and spoke. "For some odd reason, this place reminds me of the city I lived in, except I was free from being confined from the walls. I've never seen a mythical creature in my entire life..." Their voice trailed off, and eventually, they started to regain their thought."Oh. Sorry. It's just that this island reminded me a lot of my home, except I'm free from confinement from ever leaving the city." They then approached a book that has fallen from a rotting bookshelf, and picked it up."I never saw a mythical creature in real life before. Our city had to rapidly develop to stop the mythical creatures if they ever invaded." Cymoline's first instinct was to open the book. The first thing that caught their attention was a mythical creature, a nine tailed fox."So," Cymoline looked at Ally, "what was your home like? Was it like mine, confined and futuristic, or was it something else?" They had a blank stare, awaiting for her response.

It should be safe enough." A slight chill of the wind caused her to tug her hood further up and over her face. This caused her face to be covered in shadows and it was harder to make out her features.

She had followed Cymoline to the building, listening to her talk all the way there. Cymoline was interesting, a little different from the people she knew at home. They had a history that made up their personality, which the people Ally knew lacked.Cymoline mentioned mythical creatures, whom Ally never heard of before. She didn't even know if they were real. At school, the two years of school she had been to, they talked about them as if they were nothing more than words in a book.As Cymoline spoke to her about their past and the hardship they had been through, Ally suddenly felt as if her 'home' was not that bad. "Definitely something else," Ally replied. "This land we are on right now, reminds me nothing of my home."She paused."I don't remember much.""The thing about my home is that I don't even know if it's my home. I don't even know if I grew up there or not."Ally thought she should not get to personal, she didn't know if she could trust this person yet. "Lets just say I woke up one day, in a 16 year old body, with no memories at all. I was assigned to a house, to an artificial family. I went to school. The family acted like they knew me. They called me Ally. They didn't answer any of my questions. Whoever put me there, expected me to live my life just like that.""One day I ran away, and well. It happened all over again, but I am assuming they just wiped away the memory of whatever got me here." Ally stopped."I'm used to it now."She looked at Cymoline, changing to subject so she could avoid talking about something so heartbreaking. She refused to let herself cry.

Sometimes venting something out to somebody is the best way to feel better... Besides, I hate home. I had my powers tested every month until one day, I had a vision of somebody who looked like they died, and blacked out shortly after. Then it happened again, and I kept on fainting... Bah." Cymoline rolled their eyes at their own remarks. "Long story short, visions are what made me be like this. I felt imperfect, as if my mistakes shouldn't exist." Then they grinned and looked at Ally."Eventually I realized... Without my past actions, I wouldn't have met Lilith, wouldn't have trained myself to be strong, and above all, end up here."

Ally inched towards the wall, so that she was not under the large hole of the building's roof."If anything, I should know about venting. Back home, the only thing I enjoyed or lived for was... well," Ally chuckled. "Knowledge, I guess. I was super interested in psychology, well I still am, and school was really the only thing that kept me going.""I'm actually supposed to graduate this year. I guess that's not going to happen anymore...""All I really ever want to do is to help people, you know. People talk about how war kills us, and diseases and I suppose they are right. They do kill us and cause us to cut the final string. But nobody really sees that lives end way before any of that happens. It's the thoughts, the sadness, the depression, the paranoia, the anxiety and puts us in threat of the end."Ally looked down at her hands, shaking her head. "That's the real killer."
