You were always a agerage student, getting Bs and Cs, rarely As. But something happen, when you walked down the road, after you just got an A on a test. Feeling contented, when suddenly you see a small golden box on the grass. Curious, you open it, peering inside, you see a ton of puzzle. A small word was written on it: You are on of the 8 picked for this... Puzzle, you decide you were suppose to find 7 other people with the same box.But it is not as it seems, as all clues are... And your life changes drasically as you touched the box.

Rules

-No sues or godmodding
-No gore, violence is accepted like fighting
-Minor powers only, not powerful ones like shiftshaping, time freezing, etc.
-All powers must have weakness
-One power only

Personality: Deseptive and sly. His intention are usually unknown.
Description: Wear a white robe and cloak. They wear a mask, you can only see they're silvery eyes. Clothes are covered in questions, clothing colors are gray, white, and black. Very tall.
Power: Most suspect they're a psychic.
Others: He made it a puzzle game for a reason...

Age: 16
Gender: Female
Personality: She has a sorrowful past, but she is calm and patient. Agile, makes her great at running. Quick learner with short attention spams. She has hydrophobia. Prefers the cold. A loner.
Description: Pale with blue eyes and white blond hair. Very tall but light. She always wears a smile but her eyes show misery. She wears a white shirt and black leggings along with blue sneakers.
Power: She can control the waters.
Weakness: She can't get near fire for the fear of getting burned, water for the fear of drowning, so she basically has her powers wasted on her. The heat makes her weak, fire can make her faint.

Name: Luna
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Personality: Used to being invisible and ordinary, she is shy and quiet. Prefer to not be the center of attention.
Description: Small, pale, and light. She wears a dark purple and black dress and wears black flats. She has black hair with streaks of dark purple running through it.
Power: She can make small objects move.
Weakness: She can't stand the dark, drains her energy quickly.
Others: She is not as she seems.

Personality: Sweet, kind, loving. She is also brave and loyal. She doesn't let people tell her what to do. She is stubborn.
Description: She has waist length wavy hazel hair with grass green dip-dye. She has emerald green eyes. She is tall and thin. She has a load of freckles on her face. She wears a green hoodie, black ripped jeans and emerald green boots. She wears a black choker and a bracelet made of real gold.
Power: Animal communication.
Weakness: She can't stand any metal except gold. She also can't speak with an animal that doesn't wish to speak to her.
Others: Her parents have quite a lot of money. She's spoilt.

Name: Shadow
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Personality: Violent, feisty, dislikes boys. She is brave and loyal and not afraid to fight.
Description: She has straight black hair in a high ponytail, blue-grey coloured eyes. She's tall and thin and has quite pale skin. She usually wears a plain black shirt, a black choker, blue jeans, and black doc martens.
Power: Basic shadow manipulation. She can make small shadows appear and the can blend into shadows big enough for her to hide in.
Weakness: Light. She's like a vampire, walking under sunlight without a hat, umbrella or sunglasses for too long can kill her.
Others: She's had a hard past.

Name: Magus Talux
Age: 17
Gender: Genderfluid (theythem)
Personality: Magus is neutral in terms of gender and appearance. They are introverted, and enjoys staying indoors and going on various social media. They like rainy days, most especially. They are somewhat cold-hearted, rude, and has the tendency to ignore people and push them away. Online, they are silly, and often times punny. This can accidentally be shown outside the web.
Description: They have short messy almond hair, deep blue eyes, pale skin and a scrawny build due to their lack of time outside. Magus wears a cerulean hoodie, dark jeans, and white sneakers.
Power: Creation of ice. They can create ice shards, freeze things, and make the air cold.
Weakness: They can only make ice shards when there's water - we all now know why Magus likes rain. Freezing things requires contact when used, and it can only be used actively. When dropping the temperature, they can only drop it 5°F, and can only affect it within a 2 feet radius.
Others: Their parents are gone most of the time, so they rarely get to see them. Magus has a sister ten years older than them, so they rarely spend their time alone in their dwelling.

Name: Alex Carion
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Personality: Alex is a nice person. His intentions are usually hush-hush, and doesn't really talk at all. Alex's personality is hidden, and everything is a secret when [attempting to] talk about him. He is able to multitask and quickly do things, which are from his actions of constantly taking care of his younger siblings. In short, he is the mom friend.
Description: Dark crimson hair which is neat most of the time. A plain gray shirt and a crimson jacket with blue jeans and black shoes.
Power: Weak puppetry. Alex can bring dolls and puppets to life and do his bidding.
Weakness: He can only control two puppets at a time, and they can't wander far from him, or else the magic wears off.
Others: Alex is the second oldest of a 5 child family. The eldest is away, and he has to take care of his siblings when his mother is away. His father is deceased.

Gender: Male
Personality: Mildly bitter at the way things have been going, Emry can be a bit harsh in the way he does things and tends to come off as a very rude person. He tries to make himself friendly, although he can have a relatively bad attitude towards many things.
Description: Emry is very stocky and of average height, he has a near mullet of brown tinted black hair and sharp hazel eyes. He usually wears jeans and a brown jacket over a light brown shirt and dark brown boots.
Power: Heightened Senses
Weakness: He can't control how he interprets these senses, and he can't control them at all. At most he is able to focus upon a different sense to dull out the rest a bit but he can't fully stop them.
Others: He used to be something akin to a bully at school. But after becoming friends with someone bullied he quickly realized how wrong he was and started to change his ways.

Name: Muse Petrell
Age: 16
Gender: Nonbinary (She/They)
Personality: Muse is very pranksterish, often joking about everything and she takes jokes very well. She tends to hide her problems behind jokes and doesn't want to deal with their issues.
Description: They stand at around five foot nine inches, they have brownish orange eyes and bouncy short light brown hair. They wear a simple brown shirt with black pants and simple sneakers. A messenger bag holds all of their belongings.
Power: Muse can create illusions
Weakness: The illusions can be passed through easily and they have a kind of misty/clouded appearance. They also tend to only be able to create illusions of things she has seen before.

Personality: She trusts others very easily and hence, is easily deceived by others. Besides, she is most often very rash. She can also be stubborn and shy, only speaking up when she needs to.
Description: Her straight long black hair just flows down to her waist. Her bangs are side swept, so they usually covers her eyes, hiding a small scare near her right temple. She has a black iris with tiny golden flecks in the middle. Kayla wears a dark purple torn dress that goes until her knees together with white sneakers, the only bright thing in her appearance.
Power: Kayla is able to create electric shock waves to attack and defend.
Weakness: However, whenever she creates the shock waves, her energy drains, depending on the power she uses. The higher the power, the more her energy drains. Besides, if she uses too much of her powers at once, she would be unable to use her them for days, rendering her useless.
