Orchestra!

I auditioned for the local youth orchestra and got in the 1st violin section! (WOOT~ 😃)

And we're playing these pieces:
Finale (The Dargason)
March of the Meistersingers
Academic Festival Overture
The Last Spring
Carol of the Bells
Variations on a Christmas Carol
Gopak
Christmas Fugue

But they're hard. xP
I'm just sharing my excitement! :]

Well actually, they said I could either be second chair of the 2nd violins or the back of the 1st with my best friend, so I picked Julia. x]

But I kind of wanted to be second chair.

Er... in elementrary, it was Clarinet. In JH, I played the flute.
But all I wanted to learn was the violin & guitar. Dx

I kinda miss Orchestra, but it left me truamatized o_O

I looove Carol of the Bells! 😃 I played a little piano in the past. Not much else. Tried the flute once in elementary school but didn't get far.

are all pieces I'm familiar with. You've got your work cut out for you, but you'll have a blast, I'm sure!

I just rejoined my college band as a community member...I feel old, hahaha.

I play the Bass Clarinet. I was in Orchestra on it during High School and some of College, too, so I know that world...just not as well as the band world 😊
