Newbie Mistakes

Calling all players! New and old! If you're not new, you can list all your newbie mistakes, and the new EggCave players can look at your mistakes and try not to make the same ones!

It's kind of a learning system!

My First Newbie Mistake was when I traded away one of my starred creatures for a cave common.

xD I didn't know about star creatures then!

Somehow when I was a new player in 2013, I got a oscoa pretty early on. 😋
I traded it away for some of my favorite LEs at the time, all of which were pretty common as far as LEs go. 😋 ☹️
So I ended up trading my unfrozen oscoa (got as egg at first) for a major underoffer. 😋 😋

But hey! 😃 I now have 2 oscoas currently, and have had a total of 4 oscoas over my time here. 😊

Lol yeah. XD They took me a while to get, but it was worth it!! 😃
I still have my first ever LEs (featured). XD IDK if I got him from that trade or not. xD

@doyoueverwonder I cringe at my early months of playing. xP I remember begging a few times before realizing I shouldn't do that after being rejected by a few really patient users.

I don't actually remember- I played Flight Rising before this, and the rules are quite similar. XP

One of the most frustrating things as a new player is learning the value of the eggs. I had a few situations where I asked about egg values and got no responses, only to have the person I tried to trade with get angry because I had underestimated the value.

I joined yesterday, and all I've really been doing is collecting, feeding and clicking eggs.

I read the faq, so I have a fairly good idea of the game haha 😃

I don't think I've made any mistakes as of yet... 😉
