I work all day on graphic/web design at home and sometimes I need some inspiration!

What are your favorite inspiring art pieces, artists, books, music, movies, etc?

I'll check them out except the Sia music. She blocked me on Twitter back in 2013 because I told her I was upset that she sold out and made music with that horrible Davide Guetta. OOPS! ☹️

@motivecat me either! This was before she was super famous though right after Titanium came out. I really hated that song and I was sad because her older music is so good ☹️

My favorite artist is Camilla D'Errico ♡

LauraZombie on Deviantart is gorgeous too.

The art film Women Without Men is an Islamic Feminist Film and its gorgeous. It was made by an Islamic artist who works in new York in exile and she adapted it from a book a woman wrote while living in the middle east and she was thrown in jail for 5 years for writing it. The movie is artistically absolutely gorgeous. ♡ ☆

I'd rather digest all art and form my opinions rather than shut something out and say that's not for me. There are some exceptions to that though haha.

Absolutely understand, im in college studying to become an Animator and recently I got to go on a trip to see some huge art museums in Houston, TX including the Menil Collection which had bazillions of old art masterpieces including original Van Goghs and Degas

My favorites are always the surrealist painters though like Rene Magritte and Yves Tanguy. Max Ernst is good too if your into weird stuff lol. Magrittes Bronze sculpture "The Healer" is beautiful ♡ c:
