Here's my general feedback of the new update so far:

I appreciate the amount of thought, time, and work put into the new update. I know it's stressful for many to get used to the new changes. New changes are always hard. I understand some things may or may not be permanent and that the programmer/developers/staff are working really hard to make these adjustments. I have not checked out the mobile version, so my thoughts will only be based off of the desktop version. I can fully understand why the change needed to have happened though, even if I may not fully support some of the new updates. Yes, changes need to be made, and in this case. The code was outdated and they needed to update it in order for them to add newer features (correct me if I'm wrong, I may have misunderstood), it may not be all of what we agree on but there's always room for improvement.

The design is nice, drastically different. I will miss the previous styled layout--but that's always how it is, we'd always prefer the old over the new. However...

Size The content margin of the layout seems unnecessarily large. I thought it was just me, but it seems to be the same for many users and all other browsers (I use Chrome). I'd prefer if the size were to be the same as before because there wasn't so much white space, and would make it easier on the eyes. I understand that there's ways to adjust this problem just by zooming out, however I'd prefer if that wasn't the case.

Spacing I'm not bothered too much by having four creatures per row as it looks appealing for specific coves (such as those who look to own one of every creature in different stages, which generally are four stages for most creatures). HOWEVER, the spacing between the creatures is ridiculously wide and unappealing. There's just too much white space. It'd be nice if we had our own option to adjust how many creatures we'd like displayed per row and to maybe (please) remove the wide spacing?

EDIT: I'm glad that this was changed, and I love the change to six creatures per row. Much more appealing, thank you!

Search I'm not so happy with the change of the search function, because I preferred it the way it was. Not being able to specifically search for a creature/user will be more difficult now that they're combined. Not that I often have trouble searching for a usernames, it might be a problem for others.

Adoption Center I wish they had kept the link in the drop down menu for an easier navigation. But it's probably not all too relevant because of the easy one-way transfer to another account.

Stars When applying a star onto a creature from the Cash Shop, it does not give the old option to change the colors and select the position of the star. Rather I must go manage/edit the star through 'Your Creature' page.

Profiles Can't say I'm satisfied with the overall user profiles, I miss having the function of arranging the order of my profile, so I hope that they'll consider putting that feature back in.

Livepulse I really prefer having the old livepulse page, rather than them showing up under "recent topics" which aren't live.

Pop-up Dialogues Most of them are really unnecessary. I could understand that it may be for the cause of preventing awkward situations or mistakes, but in that case, that user would be at fault. Mistakes happen, but mistakes are also lessons!

Creature Headshots I honestly loved just having more customization with the display of your active creature, gave a more unique touch.

Forum Subtopics I also noticed there's no longer a visible link back to the subtopic forums underneath the title of a post.

Creature Descriptions I prefer having no scrollbar on creature descriptions. The scrollbar just tends to ruin the appeal for me.

One of the few but big changes I love about the update are...

Transfering Creatures - This is actually one of the new features I absolutely love and was looking forward to using. It's less tedious and time consuming to move creatures from one account to another, it's also a nice feature to use for sending gifts!

Notifications - I actually like the idea of having no notifications pop up on the side, however I think it'd be useful to have a setting to toggle on and off allowing you to have them, because it seems other users may have found that useful.

Mail It's refreshing having the option to mass archive mail/mark as read/etc. that way everything is less cluttered. It's nice and convenient!

Trades Having the items/creature trades put into one is a lot nicer. More convenient with being able to include more the 5 creatures per lot, also convenient being able to add creatures AND items for creature + CC trades, and a lot safer for creature > CC exchange.

Auctions Same as the trades, it's nice having a variety of not just creatures but also items to auction off!

Gender Roles It's really nice to see there are more gender display options!

Accepted Colors I don't know if I may have missed some previously, but it looks like new colors have been added, and that's always a plus! More variety of colors to work with, whoo!

reCAPTCHA I honestly would always get a little aggravated over the captchas 'cause I would mistake a number for a different number and would miss my chance at an item. So it's nice just to have that function instead.

Archives The creature archives are honestly visually appealing to me. I love how the creature display shows all four stages spread out across and how nicely put together the information is below.

Those are just some of the few things I have looked over and thought about. However, I thank the staff and developers for their hard work! It's good to see Egg Cave is still progressing and pushing forward.
