The Shunned and the Revered {Warriors RP Sign-Ups}

Surrounding a large lake sits two groups of cats, LakeClan, the last remainder of the Three Great Clans, and The Forgotten, a group of cats who travelled from a nearby territory, who were upset at the Clans’ refusal to acknowledge their own heritage. The Forgotten imposed on the territory of MistClan and RippleClan, forcing cats out, forcing them into exile, having them join them or be sent to live in LakeClan. LakeClan took in the refugees from these Clans when they could, and gradually began expanding their territory not only into the system of tunnels beneath them, but into the nearby forests. They refused to back down when the Forgotten threatened their lands, and after a battle which resulted in the Leaders of both groups killed, and the Deputy and Step-Up mortally wounded, the Forgotten and LakeClan agreed to a truce. The two have maintained an uneasy alliance as of recent times.

Nearly 360 moons later, and 30 season cycles, the tension between the two has sprung up again and a prophecy from their ancestors has reached the Seer and Medicine Cats. Foretelling of tragedy to come for both.

It is well known that both groups’ ancestors share the same plane of existence, known as Starry Fields. Although this is separated into two sections, StarClan and Star Falls respectively.

Territory

LakeClan holds territory surrounding half of the lake, their far borders is roughly 5 tree-lengths away from the lake edge, and their territory stretches roughly 7 tree-lengths from the other ends. They hold ground within the nearby forests, and in the very small system of tunnels beneath their territory. The tunnels, mostly collapsed, solely serve as the Clans’ camp, there are three tunnels, carved out of stone, that run down from three points in the territory down to the large, mostly, underground cavern that makes up the Clan camp. This cavern has 8 woven dens, and jagged walls. There is a large open roof, that allows for access out of the camp should the tunnels collapse. There is one den for the leader, beside that is the nursery, and next to that is the elders den, on the other side sits one of the warriors dens on the far side of the cavern, away from the tunnel entrances. On the left side of the tunnel entrances sits the other warrior den, the medicine cat's den, and the two apprentices dens. The medicine den also covers a large alcove in the cave wall where herbs and sick cats are held.

The Forgotten hold territory on the other half of the lake, with roughly 7 tree-lengths away from the lake, and 10 from end to end. Their camp is woven into a glade in the forest patch that covers 1/3 of their territory, and has 12 woven dens. Their territory is primarily open land, with rivers spreading it and forest. They reinforce their camp walls with brambles, and their dens are waterproofed. Their dens are scattered around the camp, with individual dens for each leader and the step-up, seers get a den embedded into tree roots, there are two trainee dens, one for each group.

The leaders of both groups travel to a small petrified aspen known as the Moon Tree to receive their lives. Seers and medicine cats both head here to converse with their ancestors.

Both groups live 5 moons travel from the nearest twoleg place, and so kittypets are a rare happenstance. Especially kittypets younger than 10 moons.

- No mary Sue’s, Godmodding or Powerplaying
- A maximum of three HP’s per person, and they can’t all be of the same rank
- No mates or crushes with your own characters if you only have two characters. So make three characters if you want two to be together.
- When fighting another's character give them reaction time. Don't just hit without allowing them to parry or dodge. If you do then they get free reign to do the exact same. (eye for an eye)
- Follow the forum rules.
- No romance RPing. Literally, you can ask to change their roles on the relationship chart, and have them act like close friends, but nothing more.
- I would prefer if you pinged everyone when you post. But if you want to please subscribe and ping those you interact with.
- Just as a rule of thumb, the Leaders of the Forgotten each get three lives, and the leader of LakeClan gets nine.
- If you get a leader, please PM me the number of lives they have left after you are accepted.
- If you understand these rules, please put a fun fact about your character in other.
- Don't go more than 7 posts between you and someone else without another user interacting.
- Involve everyone, it helps to keep things rolling. Following up, if your cat is being interacted with don't just stop responding. That's really messed up.
- If you want your cat to be involved in the plot/prophecy, please put a little “prop” in other on the form of the cat you want involved. I will be PMing those who were accepted into the prophecy shortly after the RP begins.
- Keep the coat colors natural. I don't care if they are genetically possible by way of patterning or by way of what coat color their parents had, but I don't want purple cats.
- Do not control someone else's characters unless they explicitly state, in this thread, that you can use them.
- Everything in the form is required unless marked by an asterisk (*). Don’t leave out aspects because you just don’t want to add them in.
- If you are going to be inactive, please tell me. I can shift your characters into simple NPC work until you are back. This ensures your characters aren't interacted with or harmed until you return to control them.
- Beside each rank, is the general age groups. Of course exceptions can be made for some, but most will follow those guidelines.
- Please be literate and don't have posts that are solely dialogue. I don't care how many sentences you write, just add in action to spoken phrases.
- Giving two cats the same prefix is fine so long as they don’t have the same suffix. This means no apprentices sharing a prefix. This rule only goes for Clan cats, or former Clan cats.
- I do not want to see characters in the Clan or Forgotten using Lake, Soul, Spirit, Sun, Moon or Star in their names, both groups revere these concepts. Only exception is the Clan leader who gets the -star suffix. Outsiders can go crazy with their names
- Should go without saying, but cats who were formerly of the new LakeClan cannot hold high positions in the Forgotten, and cats from the Forgotten cannot hold high positions in LakeClan. Unless those cats have been in the other group for more than 10 moons.
- Keep genders even or at least close to even.
- If you agree to these rules, please put the names of your character's parents in code.

Age: 45 Moons

Appearance: A long-furred, and rather small black and brown tabby with green eyes.
Personality: Featherstar is fairly quiet, she observes her Clan well and rationally despite her age. She is very open-minded and will nearly accept any form of understanding from the members of her Clan. She seeks most advice from the Deputy and Senior Warriors, leaning heavily upon their opinions on matters.
Featherstar wants to keep the Clan safe, and she will do what is necessary to meet that end, even if it means ignoring advice given to her by her council.
Past: Featherstar was born to LakeClan and was descended from RippleClan cats, she trained hard and strived to keep her friends as safe as possible. She was soon made into a warrior, and did her best to keep the Clan safe, even if it meant driving herself to the point of death to keep the Clan fed. After she trained her first apprentice, and was given her second she was made deputy after the previous one passed away. She continued to keep the Clan stable, and it came as a shock when Graystar died when she was 29 moons. Featherstar became leader, and she took the change as a great shock, and started to go to others for help on guiding everyone.

Appearance: A flame point tom with hazel eyes, his face is covered in scars, and patches of his fur are missing across his body.
Personality: Flare is very aggressive towards outsiders. He is a fierce cat, and is highly defensive of his cats. He will do anything to keep them safe, even if that means mortally wounding a trespassing cat.
Past: Flare was descended from MistClan cats in the Forgotten. His parents were often mistreated due to their blood heritage, and Flare was set to make everyone believe that even cats from a Clan could achieve greatness. He fought his way up the ranks, defending the borders as fierce as a mother would her own kits. He eventually became Step-Up and from there he was named Leader after one of the former died.
He has a small one moon fling with a rogue molly, although that was short lived, and he never spoke to her again.

Appearance: A very small all black molly with one green eye and one dark blue, nearly black eye.
Personality: Ravenpaw is very quiet, she tends not to talk much unless absolutely necessary. She is very observant, and tends to notice things most others would merely pass over.
Past: Ravenpaw was born to a very ill mother, she originally had six other siblings, although all but Smokepaw passed away shortly after birth. Less than three moons after she was born, Ravenpaw watched her mother die as well. Ravenpaw ended up being raised by Quicksilver, a permanent Queen, and she became a medicine cat to attempt to help other cats as Quicksilver did for her. Ravenpaw watched as her father died of greencough, and as Quicksilver was killed by her own chest infection. Losing almost every single family member she had.

Appearance: A ginger tabby tom with a white nose blaze, chest, tail tip and paws. He has green eyes, which on the left has a pie slice of brown.
Personality: Blazeheart is cunning and very ambitious. He can find little loopholes in the Code, and uses those to his advantage very often. He can be a bit manipulative, often twisting the words of others, or twisting his own words to alter the surface meaning of what is being said.
Past: Blazeheart was born to the Clan, and he often was pampered as a kit, seeing as his father was deputy. Some of the Clan formed a bias towards him, and he started earning mild special treatment. This soon spiraled out of control, as it went to his head. Rumors floated around when he started training his first apprentice, and Blazeheart became convinced he would be the next deputy. To speed this process along he organized a well constructed plot, to give his father poisoned prey, resulting in his father dying. Despite this, Featherpelt was made deputy in place of him. Blazeheart grew angry, and became even more so when Featherstar didn’t choose him as deputy, although he hid this and pretends to be a valuable advice giver.

Personality: Wolfwind is very caring and kind, she often will protect her friends. She has issues trusting others with her own troubles though.
Past: Wolfwind was born to the Clan, and she grew up pretty regularly. She was very kind to her half-brother, and she cared deeply for him and his kits, often helping them out after Pondflower died. She was very shocked when he passed, and she refuses to let her remaining kin down.

Appearance: A brown masked silver molly, she has a brown face, legs and tail. Her left eye is ice-blue and her right is a very dark blue almost black. Across her left eye she has a scar of three parallel lines, running from the tip of her lip to her cheek on her right side she has a large scar.
Personality: Viperpad is very quiet and reserved, she doesn't make friends easily and she tends to avoid large groups. She always opts away from battle training if at all possible, as the memory of her brother's death still leaves her with regret.
Past: Viperpad was born to Quicksilver and she originally had two siblings. Viperpad was very excited to begin training, and she was forced to spar with her still recovering brother Canarypaw after he suffered from a serious illness. The result of her mentor forcing this sparring resulted in Canarypaw dying. Viperpad blamed herself, despite both of their mentors knowing that he was too ill to fight.

Personality: Duskpool is very calm, she’s watchful and can find her head even in the most severe of instances. She helps to keep other cats calm in times of trouble, and finds her innate ability to stay calm in most instances very useful in the thick of battle.
Past: Duskpool maintained a relatively easy life, she was torn when her mother died, and was devastated when Canarypaw passed after a training incident.

Appearance: A large and long furred, cream silver marbled tabby bicolor with blue eyes.
Personality: Dawnquill is a very sweet and kind cat, he is generally very welcoming towards others. Dawnquill refuses to turn others away or let them be harmed when he could otherwise prevent it.
Past: Dawnquill was born to LakeClan and originally had a brother. His parents were killed on patrol by a coyote attack shortly after Dawnquill became an apprentice. At this Dawnquill became very protective of his brother and friends so it was mildly devastating when his brother died of greencough.

Past: Cavern was born to rogue parents, when it became apparent they could take care of both their kits they abandoned them just outside the lands of the Forgotten for a patrol to find. Twin River and Cavern were thus taken in and raised like Forgotten members.

Appearance: A chimera who is half black on her left half and half long furred and white on her right half. She has one lilac eye in her right side, and one yellow eye in her left.
Personality: Very quiet and reserved, Twin River is observant and stealthy. She tends to lean towards watching the movements of others rather than interacting.
Past: Twin River was abandoned by her parents alongside her sibling shortly after they were born. After being taken in Twin River was often observed with a form of dread by the other members of the Forgotten, mainly because of her strange pelt. Twin River gradually began withdrawing from others as a result and really only stays close to her sister.

Past: Smokepaw was born to an ill mother and originally had six siblings. After his mother passed his remaining siblings passed except for his sister Ravenpaw. Smokepaw maintained a relatively normal life until a few days ago when his mentor was killed while on patrol.
