Sort of... odd question

Well here's a question you probably don't see everyday here on the EC forums. Is there any rules or anything pertaining to making a fursona of an eggcave species? Specifically, I wanted to make a Hinonia fursona, would this be allowed?

I wouldn't see why you couldn't. Maybe just give credit where credit is due. (Ex: Not claiming the entire design/idea/whatever for yourself.)
