Does anyone know this book?

Kso, my other thread got me thinking about an old book I read. Well, was red.

In fifth grade we were read to by the librarian, and I really liked this one book; can't remember the name D: So, I'm going to describe it and maybe on of you know it?❤️

Here's what I remember;

Some kid was one an airplane for some reason, and the only people on said plane were him and the pilot.

Well, plane crashed near an island[?] Pilot died.
Boy lived, and made himself some sort of home
He lived of fish and berries

He was found because he dove back into the water and into the plane, and found an emergency kit. He was playing with the radio thingie and accidenly left it on.

Someone found him when he was eating the food in the emergency kit and an orange soda [I think that was the drink]

I read that so long ago I barely remember it. All I remember is where the boy was like malnourished or something and he "saw a color that he had never seen before in his eyes."

i read the first chapter of it X3 theres another book similar to the theme of being stranded except its on an island, and its a whole big group of kids.... its called 'The Lord of the Flies' if you're interested;)
