The Clans of Snow (RPG)

Once, there were three legendary clans who lived in the mountains. Snowclan, Iceclan, and Freezeclan. They were the strongest clans, able to live in very cold weather. Then, Freezeclan insisted they were the best, and Freezeclan was destroyed. The remains joined the still fighting Snowclan and Iceclan.


Snowclan is the essence of snow. They have thick pelts and soft paws. Their prey is mice, voles, eagles, and salmon. Their predators are eagles, bears, and wolves. Their territory is a frosted valley, where their camp is near the back. The camps are made of snow and dirt and wrapped with brambles.


Iceclan is the essence of ice. They have soft pelts that are frosted with blubbery material and they have thick, hard paws for walking on cold ice. Their prey is rabbits and fish. Their predators are wolves, bears, eagles, foxes, and raccoons. Their territory is a cold mountain, where the camp is at the top. The camps are holes in the mountain with bramble protection.


Both clans have the same beliefs. They believe that the dead watches over them in the clouds, sending defrost if not pleased. Their leaders don't have -star, but have -ice in iceclan and -snow in snowclan. All cats heal themselves, but instead they have Watchers. Watchers are 2nd in command and see signs from the dead, whom they call Cloudclan.

(Icewhisker, Fluffpelt (patrol's boss), and Riverpelt are on patrol for Snowclan. They also brought their apprentices. Most other mentors are training their apprentices. Blizzardheart (patrol's boss), Cloudsky, and Otterclaw are on patrol for Iceclan. The watchers have just got a scary omen...)

Fluffpelt leaped over to the rest of the patrol. "Hurry up!" she beckoned for the rest of the patrol to come over. She peeked up towards the mountain and saw Iceclan's patrol. "Look up there."

Fishseeker flinched. The snow stained red. Could it mean doom for Snowclan? He rushed over to Echosnow. "You have to hear about this." Finchquill leaped over. "What is it?" Fishseeker cringed as he told them about the omen. We all know what that means, and it's not good. Finchquill didn't bother hide the news.

Breeze padded through the clans' territories. They were so obsessed with destroying each other, the didn't even peek to see loners and rouges. He curled up in the winter sun and caught a mouse.

Blizzardheart picked his way across the Clan territory. He hated when he was chosen to lead patrols, and he hated when those cats included the more social of his Clan.

Bonespeaker had been perched on a small flat space in the camp. She had been observing the land around them, and up until a few moments ago there had been nothing.

It was almost split second, the landing pain tearing through her splintered leg. And then there it was, off in the distance as she flinched to care for her pain. A massive chunk of the frozen top of an adjacent and smaller peak shattered. Exploding out in all directions.

Her fur bushes up, and she dug her claws into the rock beneath her. She blinked, looking back at the ice only to find it was still intact. No shards scattered anywhere. No large chunks missing. Nothing of the sort.

She looked around, maybe she had missed something. But no. There was nothing.

She stood, taking great care in not applying too much pressure to her injured leg and sought out Whiteice and Frostmoth.

Riverpelt flicked his tail quietly and kept low to the ground. He slowly moved toward Fluffpelt and looked up at the Iceclan patrol. "I wonder what they are doing.." Glares silently and looks over at Fluffpelt. "Possibly planning something?" As Riverpelt continued, he narrowed his eye's and scanned across the mountain's.

Pondleaf stretched her paws along the snow and slowly got up. Staring amongst the others she decided to hunt a small snack before something intrudes on the quiet.

Flarestorm was perched at the edge of the clan staring out into the open. He wanted so badly for something to come up. Digging his paws into the snow, he sat up straight and shook off the snow on his black and silver fur.

Daypaw nearly bumped into her mentor as he slowed during the patrol. She had enough issues seeing during the day as it stood. So him all but stopping threw her off.

She had been squinting so viciously her eyes were almost closed, and so she could scarcely make out the IceClan patrol. "I doubt they'd be planning anything. Maybe they're just doing a routine patrol." She grumbled.

Riverpelt turned his head back to look at Daypaw. "My apologies for the abrupt stop." Nodding his head at her he glanced up the mountain. "Yes, great job using your senses." He gave a soft smile. His eyes explored the mountain intensely before he looked back at Fluffpelt. "What's your call?" Riverpelt questioned as his paws began to bury themselves into the snow.

Whiteice found Bonespeaker with an injured leg.

"Are you ok? Was there a fight? Do you need help? Tell me what happened!" She panicked.

Pansypelt walked over to the fresh-kill pile, eager to get to her nap, she was exhausted because she hadn't gotten much sleep last night.

Nightpaw shifted restlessly as she waited by the camp entrance for her mentor. She dug her claws into the ground, her tail flicking anxiously. Not too long ago Bonespeaker had seemed spooked. And Nightpaw was not excited to see what it was all about.
