How do i use items or food on a creature?

When you go into your inventory, (Found on the right side of your screen in the long green box, labeled # Item(s), right above the Preferences.) click on the item you'd like to use. Down near the bottom of the page, past all the options, (Send to a friend, donate, move to Strongroom, and delete), there will be a section labeled "Use Item". Follow the instructions on that box and select a creature, then click the blue button under the "Select a Creature" bar. Then your creature will use the item, gain the Travel, or eat the food. Hope this helps!
