A New Era, a New Clan {Sign-Ups}

Many moons after the Great Battle, after the era of Firestar’s grandchildren and their feats, moons after Bramblestar’s reign, the four Clans around the lake were struck down. After fierce storms and weather the Clans suddenly collapsed under the strain. Earthquakes knocked out dozens of warriors as they broke the ground under cats, or caused camps to collapse. Flooding washed away multiple safe areas, and caused collapsing of the ground. The Moonpool was destroyed, a large boulder falling from the top of the waterfall and destroying the pool, cutting off connections to StarClan. Eventually the survivors fled the lake, wandering with no set home or place to live, gradually the small band of warriors became a small group of former warriors, loners, rogues, and kittypets. With no guidance from any of their ancestors the small ragtag group struggles to find solace and a new home.


In this RP, everything after The Last Hope, never actually occurred. That is solely because I haven’t read past Bramblestar’s Storm and I don’t intend to.
There may or may not be a prophecy about them getting a new home. I’m still unsure on whether or not I should implement it, or the plotline associated with the prophecy. But, be on the watch for that if I do decide to include it.
The RP occurs roughly 5 moons after the Clans’ collapse. There have been no cats who have been able to perform warrior ceremonies, although kits have become apprentices under the watchful eye of the medicine cats.

Briarkit - She-cat, born after Clans collapse. Sister to Brightkit, Birchkit and Beechkit. Daughter to Marigoldfall and Oakfur.
Brightkit - She-cat, born after Clans collapse. Sister to Briarkit, Birchkit, and Beechkit. Daughter to Marigoldfall and Oakfur.
Birchkit - Tom, born after Clans collapse. Brother to Brightkit, Brightkit, and Beechkit. Son to Marigoldfall and Oakfur.
Beechkit - Tom, born after Clans collapse. Brother to Brightkit, Briarkit, and Birchkit. Son to Marigoldfall and Oakfur.
Oaktail - Tom, former WindClan deputy.
Streamripple - She-cat, former RiverClan medicine cat apprentice.
Pineshade - Tom, former ShadowClan warrior.


- No powerplaying, sue’s, or god-modding
- No unnecessary drama, drama is fine. Just please don’t give us a ton, try to keep it in small doses. A similar goes for violence, although I’d try to tone that down to very mild things, such as stuff that would be around kids.
- Follow all the site rules, and please avoid romance rping. Yeah, the site rules say it, but I gotta restate.
- Please avoid typing in all caps or with excessive punctuation. Seriously, I’m liable to ignore you if you type in all caps or use more than two bits of punctuation in succession, save or ellipses...
- Your spelling and grammar doesn’t have to be 100%, mine won’t be perfect, all I ask is that you at least use decent grammar and spelling.
- Put your character’s parents in other if you have read and agree to the rules.
- Have realistic coats and such, it doesn’t have to be genetically possible. But I don’t want green cats, or neon pink cats.
- It is preferred that all characters are a part of the group. You can make a character or two that isn’t, but be warned that they will most likely be left behind.
- No unapproved plots, prophecies, or things of the like. Just ask me before you go on adding things.
- This won’t go for everyone, but if you want characters related to mine, go ahead and ask if that’s fine. I’m more than happy to increase my characters’ families and stuff.
- Again, please don’t include events from Bramblestar’s Storm or anything past it, in backstories, heritage or the like on your characters. It isn’t canon to this RP.
- Feel free to include how big your character is in their description. I love imagining how tall, or how big a character is compared to another.
- Try and keep things relatively realistic for the Warrior’s Universe, so no cats living on their own before they’re 3 moons, no cats fighting off a badger alone and surviving.
- If your character is younger than 17 moons, and is a former Clan cat, they must have their apprentice name.
- Mild powers are fine, so long as they’re like Yellowfang’s power, where she can feel pain, or like Goosefeather’s where he can see dead cats, or like a toned down version of Dovewing’s senses, or even like Firestar’s precognition.
- If something has an asterisk next to it in the form, it isn’t necessary.
- No playing as leaders, or similar. These cats are travelling because they didn’t have a leader. Medicine cats and former deputies are fine, but please coordinate with other character’s past roles and such.
- I will not be putting the code in other.

Name: Quillpaw (Quillbreeze)

Looks: A very small black bicolor cat, Quillpaw has a primarily white face, legs, chest, and belly, with a black lower jaw, nose blaze, and helmet, on her legs the masking is broken and she has black dappled white legs. Quillpaw has rounded ears, and yellow eyes. She’s maybe at most like 4.5 pounds, and around six inches tall.
Kin*: Firebird(Mother), Brambleheart(Father), Thornberry(Uncle)
Past*: She was born to WindClan to a ThunderClan tom and a WindClan mother. She was neglected for most of her life, and her mother often met with her father, leaving Quillkit alone for long periods of time. Quillpaw’s neglect kept up even as she was an apprentice. After the Clans met their end, Quillpaw finally got to meet her father, although she was promptly shoved to the side by bother her parents, as she wasn’t bold enough for either of them.
Personality: She’s very quiet and shy, Quillpaw has trust issues and she tends to be very nervous and unsure of herself. Quillpaw tends to struggle to express herself, and tends to just keep quiet. She also tends to just go with what other do, she has a hard time standing up for herself and finds it easier to just follow others and their own tasks.

Looks: A very round, and thick furred, blue-gray tom with green eyes. He’s very similar looking to a Russian Blue.

Past*: He and his brother were born to ThunderClan, but whereas Thornberry was more inclined to train to become a medicine cat, Brambleheart was always more interested in defending and keeping the Clan fed. The two brothers had a falling out after Thornberry berated Brambleheart for taking a mate outside the Clan in secret, but Thornberry refused to tell on his brother. Brambleheart scoffed at his brother’s words, and when it came to surface that Thornberry was in love with a warrior named Stormfoot, Brambleheart did not hesitate to blackmail his own brother. After the Clans collapsed he returned to Firebird’s side, claiming that their relationship wasn’t anything yet, but that the Clan cats would need to set aside petty things like old borders if they needed to survive.
Personality: Brambleheart is arrogant, and prideful. He will do what he must to ensure he benefits the most, and he tends to act pretty scummy to achieve that. Nothing is really below him, even if that means blackmailing family or setting them up for failure.

Name: Thornberry

Looks: A round furred, black pelted tom with multiple small stripes of white scar fur. He has green eyes, and rounded ears.
Kin*: Brambleheart(Brother), Quillpaw(Niece), Flamefur(Mother, deceased), Willowspark(Father, deceased)
Past*: He and Brambleheart grew up together, but whereas Thornberry wanted to heal, Brambleheart wanted to be a warrior. As a result fissures started to spread between the siblings, causing them to bicker and argue. Thornberry discovered Brambleheart’s affair with the WindClan cat Firebird, and only really berated him for it, believing that his brother would do the same for him. Quite the contrary in fact, when Thornberry developed a crush on the warrior Stormfoot, Brambleheart threatened to tell him of Thornberry’s crush, even going so far as to blackmail Thornberry. When the Clans collapsed Thornberry refused to abandon his brother, and was shocked to find he publically declared that the Clans needed to become one to survive.
Personality: Thornberry is a very concerned and worrying cat, he is very in touch with the Clan cats, and he is always there to provide moral support. Thornberry tends to put family first when necessary, even if that family treats him like dirt.

Looks: A bright, ginger-red classic tabby she-cat, with bright green eyes. She has very long fur, and is extremely fluffy.
Kin*: Ambercloud(Mother, status unknown), Emberfoot(Father, deceased)
Past*: She was born to WindClan, and was content growing up, but after a while she met Brambleheart and the two became mates, with Firebird bearing a single kit. Firebird raised Quillpaw alone, although when it became obvious Quillpaw wasn’t the cat either of her parents were Firebird began to meet with Brambleheart, to discuss new ideas for their kit, and future kits. When the Clans collapsed she was grateful to find Brambleheart alive and well, and the two formed a fake plan to announce their “new” love to the rest, feigning a belief that to survive borders needed to be erased.
Personality: Firebird is feisty and fierce, she is very bold and a bit of a daredevil. She enjoys taking risks, and she is very excitable.

Name: Viperfrost

Looks: A brown masked silver she-cat, with one left ice-blue eye and one right dark green almost black eye. She has a number of scars, specifically one running from the lip on her left side of her mouth up to her cheek, and one set of three across her right eye. She is missing chunks from her ears, and has a large scar across her chest.
Kin*: Blazestorm(Half-brother), Quicksilver(Mother, status unknown), Pinecone(Father, status unknown)
Past*: She was born to the Clan, and was born of a kittypet and a rogue. She and her full brother, Canarypaw, were training as apprentices and she was forced to attack her ill and weak brother, killing him as a result. Shortly after the Clans fell her mother left to live with her father, Pinecone.
Personality: Viperfrost is very reserved and watchful. She doesn’t fully trust others, and she tends to be a bit distant. Although Viperfrost is far from being rude, she does have a bit of a sharp tongue and can be a bit harsh when stating facts.

Anything Special*: She is able to walk silently, even without trying to, and she tends to be able to slip from other’s vision. They can still see her, but Viperfrost tends to be hard to focus on, much like when there’s dust in the corner of your eye.

Past*: Blazestorm was born to ShadowClan, the son of a previous deputy Swiftfeather. He was grown to believe he was a great cat, destined for amazing things, as his father often coddled Blazestorm. Blazestorm was shocked when his mother took a new mate, and he vowed to try to alienate her and his half siblings as best as he could, his father claiming that Quicksilver never really loved him or any cat in the Clan. Blazestorm was soon given a young Viperfrost as an apprentice, and he pushed the young cat to do more than she reasonably should. He forced Viperfrost to attack her ill brother, and she ended up killing him, much to Viperfrost’s horrification and Blazestorm’s excitement. Shortly after this he was promoted to deputy, and a few moons later the Clans collasped.
Personality: Blazestorm is very arrogant and entitled, he strives his best to do what he needs to earn higher roles. He tends to use underhanded tactics and false accusations painted true to achieve this.

Looks: a pure black she-cat with green eyes with lean frame, very skinny and thin. Also has a scar on the right side of her neck.
Kin:Wingpelt is her sister. Her parents are unknown.
Past: Was first of thunderclan but fell in love with a wind clan tom named Grass whisker who died during the clan collapsing. So she changed clans to avoid conflict. Same with all but one of her kits. Her scar was from a fox attack. She wishes she could speak to Starclan.
Personality: a scared mother and fearful but has hope.

Past*: Marigoldfall had a relatively normal life, but she fell in love with a Riverclan warrior during the gatherings as an apprentice. She was blinded in an skirmish between a loner, when she was almost a warrior. Still, they kept up their nightly meetings until they decided to end their relationships. They stopped when the roughly a few moons before the clans collapsed. She found out that she was pregnant by that time. Her kits were born about a moon after the Clans collapsed.

@lazyanon Your forms are very confusing, you say that Wingpelt was going to become a medicine cat after the Clans collapsed? Even though she wouldn't have been able to. And it seems unnecessary to have changed Boulderkits name. Not to mention, you've stated that Wingpelt had a connection to StarClan before the Clans collapsed yet she wasn't a medicine cat before then?
And Boulderkit's additional ability seems a bit unnecessary, you haven't stated specific restrictions not does he have a set quota on what he can or can't sense even though poisoned food and foxes are two hugely different things, but rocks can't be sensed.

Ok I'll change it and if it helps she was a warrior first (like yellowfang) then a medicine cat apprentice and she still is because she didn't get to become one before Starclan got cut off from the clans.

He received his very first apprentice, Grasspaw, at a very young age. He fell in love her and they planned on becoming mates. She died of greencough shortly after they became mates. At that time, he was chosen for deputy. He grieved quietly in his heart and went on becoming a good deputy. A few moons later, the clans had collapsed.
Personality: As a natural born leader, he is used to authority and would often boss the other kits around. He is very wise and mature, who is used to caring for others. Oaktail is selfless and brave, more or less liking the taste of danger and adventure at times. As good natured as he is, he is prideful however, and often lacks the skill to be humble at times.

@lazyanon If Wingpelt was never a medicine apprentice why is it stated in the form? And are Nightwing and Boulderkit with the travelling cats or are they separate? That aspect of the form is kinda strangely worded.

i thought they where all traveling separate. but nightwing are with the traveling cats. and wingpelt was a warrior but then became a medicine cat apprentice and still is a medicince cat apprentice

Ok I think I get it now. I'm going to add wingpelt's other or past that knows how to use herbs to heal so everything makes more sense but she'll be a warrior.
