How do I get CC and EC without paying with real money?

I need at least 200cc and I have none right now
this sounds outrageously ridiculous and stuff, I'm sorry if I just wasted your time and stuff but yeah, I need your help.

@totallynotjoey You can easily earn ec by feeding creatures, doing the site trivia and other stuff. There's a conversion rate between ec and cc, with 500k ec being exchangeable for 50 cc.

Feeding is the most common way to gain EC. Another way to gain EC is by trading monthlies. They're only available for a month, and after the month they were released, they won't be available in the cave anymore, so their value usually gets higher the longer they exist (depending sometimes on populairity).
