The Dower

The Dower:

The Dower is a skittish, deer-like creature that can only be spotted during the fresher months of spring. This is largely due to its sensitive antlers which flower in the most specific of conditions.
Small, pink petal encircle the white centre of the flowers and they form in bunches on the long woody antlers.
The Dower is unique due to its albino coat which has three distinctive pink stripes on its back as well as its antlers abilities. Where the tail should have been is a large pink flower, similar to the ones on its antlers.

Egg Form:

The egg of the Dower is quite large in size, with its width being extended due to the Dowers antlers protruding from its soft eggy shell. They are formed well before hatching. The three pink stripes run down from the top of the egg to midway and will form the back stripes when it emerges.
The Dower lays its eggs in spring time on soft mossy surfaces usually in mountainous environments out of harm’s way.

The egg is delicate, and the antlers are easily broken during their developing stage, so upmost care is taken by the adult Dowers to protect it. Usually gentle herbivores that startle easily, the parents can become rather aggressive if an intruder gets near a nesting site. Those antlers aren’t just for good looks, they are weapons!

The egg needs sufficient care and thus after around 200 feeds it will hatch to its first and final stage as a grown Dower.

Stages:
Not much to say here, except that it hatches from egg form into Dower form. So 2 stages I guess.
