A Midrulean Tale {Sign-Ups}

One does not need to have much knowledge of the Legend of Zelda series to be able to participate in this, all I ask is that if you are not familiar with the races that you simply look them up.


As goes the legends, there exists the kingdom of Hyrule, it has also been said that there also exists Lorule a different form of Hyrule, and Termina a place where the Triforce never existed and where most that has come to pass among Hyrule and Lorule never occured. But that would still leave one remaining world, for if Hyrule and Lorule represent worlds that earn Triforces, and Termina represents the world that never did, it would stand to reason that they are in fact representing a Triforce in themselves. And that is where we begin, in the remaining world, aptly named Midrule.


As with the first two Triforce kingdoms, the Golden Goddesses shaped Midrule, and left behind the Triforce. A war broke out over it, led by the Dark King Aldis, and the royal family of Midrule broke the Triforce into its three component parts, the Triforce of Power, the Triforce of Wisdom, and the Triforce of Courage, and used the combined power of the Triforce and the sages to send them forwards in time, along with the armies of the Dark King, and Aldis himself.

Centuries passed, in which the Royal Family and their guards kept a careful watch for the return of the Triforce pieces, but after the fifth century they grew hopeless and eventually grew docile believing that those lost to time would never return. On the turn of the seventh century after they were sent forwards they reappeared, but not as expected. The Triforce latched onto those who were suited to wield it, as it was unable to find the original host who made the wish to send it through time, shortly after the Dark King and his armies followed.


- Avoid using excessive caps, or punctuation. I have anxiety, and that stuff makes it way worse.
- No Sue's, Powerplaying, or Godmodding
- Please have decent spelling and grammar, it doesn't have to be perfect but I want to be able to read and understand what is being said.
- Try and get three or more sentences per post you make, it helps to keep things flowing.
- The Triforce Holders will be decided by me just before the RP thread goes up, I may or may not also select Sages from all the characters.
- The primary races to use are Zora, Hylian, Goron, Sheikah, Rito, and Gerudo. Please keep within the restrictions that are for each race, and if needed do look them up.
- Include everyone, and don't leave anyone out unless they are intentionally singling their characters out.
- Midrule is its own place, don't have mention of Hyrule, Lorule, or Termina please. I would also say don't have mention of any of the characters from those places.
- Keep the genders even, and try to not have an overwhelming amount of one race being primarily female, or male, with Gerudo being the sole exception.
- For a character to be considered for a role as a Triforce Holder they need to be 16-20 in age. I would also advise against having characters younger than 16.
- Follow all the EggCave rules, and please no romance or excessive violence. I know it's covered in the rules, but I gotta restate just to be safe.
- Home would be which town and maybe province they live in, as reference the main ones are Central Hyrule, Rito Village, Lake Hylia/Zora's Domain, Gerudo Desert, Death Mountain, Kakariko Village, and other such places. It is reccomended you utilize a mix of the Twilight Princess map, and the Breath of the Wild map to get a grasp on what towns are where, and which exist.
- For now I will not be accepting anyone signing up to be a part of Aldis' army, but later I might. For now though they will not as they are a unique race.
- If you have read, and agree to the rules, give me either a song to represent your character, or a quote, in the code section.

Name: Astrid

Race: Sheikah, raised by Zora
Appearance: Pure white hair, red eyes, and relatively pale skin. She wears Zora armor, and often wields a spear, and trident.
Home: Lake Hylia
Personality: Aloof and observant, she often thinks over her plans before acting. She often served as the leader of sorts for her own small group of friends when she was younger. She is relatively wise, and she is relatively knowledgeable on multiple aspects. Despite this, she has grown to be relatively secretive, and uses her own knowledge to aid in remaining unseen by most.
Past: At a young age, her home was raided and Astrid was forced to flee alongside her mother, her mother took her to Lake Hylia, where her mother collapsed and died, leaving the young girl to be taken in by family friends and raised as a Zora child. As she grew up, her Sheikah traits became more and more obvious, and while she knew she wasn't Zora, the news came as a shock that she was a Sheikah. Despite this, she has remained living with the Zora.
Family: Her real parents are dead, but her foster father and mother, Mila and Tela, are still alive.
